this game has been fucking worked on for 5 years. they've actually scrapped a lot of the development and the game was made side-by-side on all platforms according to id.
if you actually think that the video settings menu is some kind of oversight while porting you're incredibly naive. the game wasn't even fucking ported.
the video settings are the way they are [B]because they wanted it that way.[/B] pro-tip: you can be 99.999% certain the video settings would be exactly the same had the game not come out for consoles.
this isn't some 3 month after-port.

it's mostly upsetting because we were told that the texture resolution was going to be SUPER AMAZING QUALITY for those of us who have beast-as-fuck rigs. the areas were said to be very well detailed when it's not really the case. it's just false advertising. that's all. anybody that says the visuals are bad is an obvious liar, though.
also you're lying if you say the gameplay is better than the graphics. it's just another recycled shooter. id tried to bring in new ammo types to try to keep it fresh but they could have done better by giving you other guns instead. playing the whole game with just two-three different weapons is lame as fuck.
that and, you know, buggy visuals galore thanks to messed up drivers. that's bound to happen, though. it's not like playtests are made with every setup imaginable.

Haven't you been checking the shops? I only just beat Bash TV and have a combat shotgun magazine, assault rifle stabilizer, and some other AR upgrade, in addition to the monocular.

The suit makes the game a bit easier but not much. Store discount is only 5% and that might be same for the other stats too.

Well i just pulled out my HD6950 and replaced it with an older GTX460 SE... oh look it runs PERFECTLY FINE NOW.
unskippable videos? Just rename your video.bik files and you get instantly to the main menu.

Manchildren. If I bought a game that I didn't like too much (K&L 2) I wouldn't try to down rate it and just bash it thoughtlessly. I'd post on the forums with suggestions on what to do to fix it from a consumer's viewpoint. Like, those people ruin the game industry with their attitudes. I'm sure they're the same people who would bash things like the new Deus Ex, BF, or Fallout saying they don't want any changes but then go on to hound CoD for being rehashed every year.
