My only friend doesn't have a PC to run it, nor the money to buy it. As soon as I want to play something co-op with him, which is quite often, I have to purchase the game for him.
And because we're gonna play Saints Row 3 together, there's no chance I can afford this as well.

Not that I regret it, co-op is more fun than anything else.
I used to buy my friends games but they would only play them once with me so I stopped doing that.

I bought it for 360 because I doubt my PC can run it.

Is it me or the textures are made so they look cartoonish like in Borderlands, but a lot less drawn?

They look less realistic than say BF3, but it's more stylish in my opinion.

I don't understand why people are so interested in this game. The gameplay trailers can't even keep me interested. It's beautiful, but the only reason I keep looking at it is because of the hype it recieves, I just don't know why it would be that great.

How much will the anarchy edition cost normally? Is the multiplayer a big part of this game? I might not be able to get it when it comes out, but when I do get it, I don't want to lose out because nobody plays online anymore.

I am interested because it's made by Id Software and it seems like a darker / more combat oriented boarderlands.
I hate how people say "Oh, this is by the developers of DOOM so you have to buy it it's totally going to change fps." At the same time how is that so if you pull a lever and then enemies come flying out of the woodwork.. not that interesting infact seems incredibly repetative. I'd be crazy to pay full price for this.
So far my only gripe with the game is that your weapon animations look a bit stiff. Otherwise I can tell I'm gonna have a lot of fun with this.

I don't think anyone is saying you should buy it just because Id is making it.

You've clearly never played id games when they've come out. They're incredibly refined and are masterly made which you notice in the guns, in the enemies, in the world. It all comes back to you through the gameplay.
id are one of the few people who make FPS games right.

But aside from id making it, I'm buying it because I think it looks fun and the fiction is interesting.

Looks good. Although I didn't really like RAGE all that much in the beginning, even though it's id Soft and all that, I'm starting to like it and I really do like the feedback of the weapons, the enemies don't feel like dolls. Weapons do knock back and make them react realistically instead of the usual "dead = initiate ragdoll" thing.
Enemies does not seem to be that dumb either, which is a huge bonus. Looking forward to this game.
