I just bought it, seems great especially for the price
I bought it yesterday, so I sent a ticket asking for a $5 refund. Politely of course, not forcing it on them.
Only $5 now? Haha damn, and I was in such a hurry to get it for $10.. Oh well, that's cool I guess, giving more money to indie developers is fine with me! Especially since it is such a fantastic game.
Five bucks? Damn Nice! I'm glad I waited.
I just bought this game, except that I have to wait for my laptop to come back from the shop to play it D:
After I closed the game I got a message saying "Unable to save characters to steam" In my concern I opened the game again and saw my character right there. Whats up with that message?

Characters are still saved locally, but torchlight was recently integrated into the Steam Cloud which saves your characters online so that you can play them on other computers without having to transfer the save files over manually.
About how long is the game, and are there any good mods out for it yet?
Last night I went through the game lickety-split, trying to get the achievement for beating it under 5 hours, and it took me about 2 hours, 45 minutes. On my first save, taking my time and all, it took me 10-11 hours.
I can't scrounge up another 2$ to get this game :argh:

Go hobo on the streets, I'm sure someone has $2 to spare.

I can't convincingly beg for money on the streets

Get some of your father's clothes, shit on 'em a bit, maybe add some burn holes or something. Make your hair look all messed up ( if you got fairly decently long hair ) and you've mad yourself look like a hobo kid. Doesn't matter how you act, it's the fact that you're a kid.
"Please sir, me children are starving." Or "I can get a pair of shoes with a single coin."
Afterwards you say "Blessings of Stendarr upon ye'."

I might give you 2$ if I didn't think you were an asshole.
Is there any multiplayer?
Just played and finished the demo. Was entertaining, but then it seemed to get a tad repetitive. A good hour of gaming, but not one I can see myself spending dosh on.
Multiplayer would probably be its biggest selling point, shame they neglected to add one.
What's the level cap on this game?
I'll buy this for the 10th person who sends me a private message.
Anyone wants to gift this to me? I'll give you something back another day :)
looks like a cheap version of wow

Still haven't got a 10th private message, surprisingly.
Dual wielding pistols in this game isnt very satisfying
I guess it might be because the two I have are both slow rate of fire, but why does my character have to take turns firing the pistols, fire them at the same time dammit
What's the level cap on this game?
100, and the fame cap is 55.
I'm on [sp]Floor 30, with all those big drakes and weird Shivarras and stuff, how far till I finish the game?[/sp] Is there anything after you complete the main story?

Not long, but when you finish the main story an "Endless dungeon" opens up with quests(killing and finding a certain item/amber) for each floor.
I think it scales to your level as well, so it is a bit more challenging than the main dungeon if you were overleveled.
My bro gifted me this game. A disappointing buy, sadly. Fun for a few hours (1-2) then it just gets repetitive. Not much in the way of customisation like it promises.
Oh well, was only £3. Though, I didn't tell him it got boring :p Said it was fun. Can't be an ass on Christmas.

Main story took 7h 55min to complete for me. Just under 8h for the achievement :D

Hmm kay.... [sp]Any tips on beating Alric as a ranged with dual guns? It's hard D:[/sp]
This game has illegal levels of addiction.

Facepunch, I'm disappointed. I'm still not at 10 PM's yet.
