Hmm. I pressed ALT to bring up item locations and names to pick them up easier, but now it is somehow stuck on and I keep seeing item name spam.

Haven't got the game installed here, but if I remember correctly there is a button (A magnifying glass if I'm not mistaken) somewhere on the menu at the bottom of the screen to toggle it on and off.

Yep, 2 spells, just drag and drop them in the pets equipped items screen (the two leftmost and rightmost boxes below the pet window, rings and an amulet goes in the 3 others).

Click the magnifying glas in the quickbar to toggle it.
Bought and played it for 3 hours yesterday and i must admit that it's pretty fun. This is coming from a guy who has been playing pc games since 1993 (almost exclusively fps games) without playing a single rpg in this style (control everything by mouse).
Everytime I try to set the game to 1600x1200 resolution , it restarts like normal, then it sets itself to the default resolution rather than 1600x1200. What gives?
Played the demo, completed it, loved it....now all i need is some money to buy it :S

The better question is why does the resolution always say it's at 640x480, even though it's not, if it's in windowed mode.
Just bought torchlight for 10bux. I'm a big fan of Diablo and I hope I'm not disappointed

I've been playing D2 for a while, and I like the look of this. Going to try the demo. Maybe eventually someone will find a way to mod multiplayer on to it... I don't like the sound of an MMO because when I think MMO subscription/paid use comes to mind.
The same developers also made the Mythos MMO and that was free2play and you could only buy potions that gave you +xxx% expierence gain and stuff like that.

I googled an MP mod, and found that they are going to release the multiplayer side free when they finish it.
Although they will probably have paid extras.
