Is there a way to reset your skill points? I'm probably blind and missing something obvious, but I haven't noticed any way yet. Thanks in advance.
No, but there is a mod that gives you respec potions.
No, but there is a mod that gives you respec potions.
Where can you download said mod, if you wouldn't mind linking me?
http://www.torchlit.net/latest-mods/item/5-respecmod.html
Thanks.
I just got it when it was on sale. I'm not too impressed by it, its almost like a mix between World of Warecraft (interface and layout) and WildTangent's Fate (gameplay). It just reminds me way too much of the game Fate, of which I hated for obvious reasons, you should understand if you've ever played it. I only played it because it was pre-installed on my laptop. However, Torchlight does have some differences that make it worthwhile.
I think FATE is a fun game. I went and bought a copy to tide me over until torchlight is available retail.
I bought the game and like it. But I'm having issues with attack. I find the sensitivity to low and clicking a target is innacurate most times making me missclick and stand in the middle of combat not doing anything.
Hold shift
What does it do?
Holds your character in places while you attack. [editline]05:48PM[/editline] Great when you're being cluster fucked by a group of enemies.
Yeah, you stay in place, and just click and hold and you will attack in the direction that your cursor is.

[editline]05:48PM[/editline] Great when you're being cluster fucked by a group of enemies.
Unfortunately, my pet always ends up picking up some loot inadvertently. This is bad for me because I store all of my unwanted loot in my pet's inventory.
I enchanted this twice but i'm too pussy to enchant it any more because it tells me the failure chance for enchanting is 15%...
Happend to me. From around 800 to 200. Ragequitted.
falcon bump
What is with all these idiots posting other threads about torchlight? This one is here, do they not see it? And some guy just bumped a week old torchlight thread, I am fucking raging right now
Happend to me. From around 800 to 200. Ragequitted.
Hint: Ctrl+Alt+Del that bitch and end the Torchlight process. (Not application, that saves your game first) Never been stuck with a busted enchantment. :smug:
If you're going to do that, you might as well just download the mod that removes the possibility for disenchantment.
If you're going to do that, you might as well just download the mod that removes the possibility for disenchantment.
Its great, but for anyone else getting it, get the failed enchant achievement first.
Anyone know of any good HUD replacement mods? I can't find any good ones.
Anyone know of any good HUD replacement mods? I can't find any good ones.
What's wrong with the current HUD?
What's wrong with the current HUD?
Health and mana indicators are too small and I just dont like the current look of it.
Health and mana indicators are too small and I just dont like the current look of it.
This. And I hate how it has some quick slots, then your health and mana, then the other quick slots.
I like to use the Diablo 3 HUD mod. The only thing bad with it is that it covers up parts of the stat point window. It's available at http://forums.runicgames.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=4252. Also, this page has a list of HUD mods if you don't want the Diablo 3 one. The only other HUD mod I saw that looked good was the "Minimal HUD" but that takes away a bunch of the buttons on the bottom bar.
The Diablo 3 HUD mod looks like it was made in MSPaint to me.

I started playing Torchlight on Friday Now a level 9 ranged woman class
I've been playing this game for a couple days now, and I love it. Which is strange to me because the game seems, even now, like it should be terrible. I dunno, it just seems extremely repetitive, there's barely any true 'gameplay' to speak of, the story ain't really all that interesting. The only concrete redeeming feature is it's extreme polish. And yet, I can't get enough of it. The only things I'm truly unhappy about when I play the game is that sometimes I feel a little lost because they don't explain a lot of things very well (manuel comes in handy at these time), and I wish you could break item stacks. Oh, and I don't think it says anywhere what your current total armor is. By the way, I'm playing the alchemist and his voice sounds like keenu reeves. [editline]10:04PM[/editline] Also, I don't know how far I am into the game, but from all accounts, it seems like the game is quite unrealized. I'd like to see a lot more depth in the town, ie bigger and with more people asking you to do more quests. I realize this was a small team with limited time, but still, that's a major flaw to me.
