If I drink this, would it kill me millions of times?
I think the number is too high, though most games freak out and go exponential.
I consider this and Titan quest my favorite games
I'm a level 11 barbarian or whatever. And I entered the third portal that guy by the waypoint gives you, it is kicking my ass. All the enemies are the same level as I, but I get raped so hard!
:raise:
That is pretty absurd.

I think 2,147,483,648 is the number of floors in the shadow vault. So technically it isn't "infinite" but it's pretty much impossible to go that far. I saw someone calculate one time that if you got through one floor per second (which itself is impossible) and never took a break, it would take 60-70 years to reach the final floor.
good job trying to create an HP potion that gives more health than the greatest possible int value
I didn't make it, it's a mod I got. I didn't even know there was a potion that gave that much until I saw it at the shop.

I'd try with the console but it only allows descending at a rate of 1000 floors at a time.
I bet theres some amazing easter egg on the final floor. It seems like it would fit in the game to me.
I bet theres some amazing easter egg on the final floor. It seems like it would fit in the game to me.
Seeing as the levels are randomly generated, I highly doubt that.
Seeing as the levels are randomly generated, I highly doubt that.
Boss levels and levels with specific events aren't. Even then though if it was randomly generated, it could be told to include certain things. Like when you need to collect those 3 runes, the rooms they are in are randomly generated, yet the runes still appear in them somewhere.

So technically the entire level could be random except for that tile set for the "special" area. So yeah, in a way there could be something at the end, but I'm sure people that use the editor a lot would have found something by now. :/
The Black Palace makes me want to strangle a kitten. I haven't even finished one floor and I've fought four champion dragonkin, five of those champion tall chicks with tails, and one of those champion alchemist guys.

I hate those tall spellcaster/summoner women, they can one-shot my vanq with that poison attack they do Edit: Also, started a new destroyer character on hard, there seems to be a LOT more enemies to fight than with the vanquisher (also on hard). I get attacked by 10-15 skeletons when I open a trap chest, and just running around levels I get attacked by mobs of 20-30 regularly. Is this normal for a destroyer? Because it's pretty awesome. I also found 2 enchant shrines on level 5 of the main dungeon.
What difficulty are you playing? I hate those tall spellcaster/summoner women, they can one-shot my vanq with that poison attack they do
Normal, which is what pisses me off even more. :saddowns: My strategy: Spam ember strike, run, use potions, repeat.

I think it might depend on the class you're on. The Black Palace was easy for my vanq, then I got to Ordrak, and failed quite badly because I hadn't leveled enough on previous floors because there were hardly any monsters :S

I'm jealous of my dog. He has over 8,000 health, and I have almost 2,000.

I've just got to level 19 (the Vast Cavern I think it's called, game crashed just after the cutscene >_>), and so far I've only found one Phase Beast, I was wandering how rare they are because the one I found was pretty awesome
Normal, which is what pisses me off even more. :saddowns: My strategy: Spam ember strike, run, use potions, repeat.
Heh. I played it as a summoner alchemist on hard mode. Worse than the dragonkin and the spellcaster demon chicks who summon skeletons..... Are the blood disciples. Those guys with the spear/staff things who rush at you and take off a huge chunk of health. If they're traveling in a group of 4-5, they'll take you from full health to death before you have time to hit the potion button. What's worse is that they would always target ME rather than my 9+ pets. I easily died more in the blood palace than the rest of the dungeon combined. The dragon guys were almost as bad, but they're slower, and it's easier to avoid their fire breath than it is to avoid a charging blood disciple. You might go close to 20 floors without seeing one (like you did) or you might find two of them on two consecutive floors. What's cool is that each area of the dungeon has a different enviornment in its phase portals. Some of them are like one big room full of treasure and lots of enemies, and some of them are a short crowded gauntlet with lots of treasure.
ah, that sounds about right, my room was a large one with some zombies in and a load of treasure
Alright i beat the main campaign (alchemist) and started doing the normal quests that NPCs give out (thinking that they would scale to my level and will be more fun, well, i was wrong) I just finished a quest in the mines with my 900dmg+ staff and IT WAS FUCKIN LAME BECAUSE ALL OF THE ENEMIES WERE LVL3 AND KEPT GETTING VAPORIZED WITH EVERY HIT......
I downloaded a Necromancer class mod and he's pretty damn good. I have a posse of a skeleton archer, skeleton warrior, 4 monster imps and 3 zombies. I fuck shit up
