Fish huh? I tried a bunch of random ones and nothing combined.. potions I got, just throw in a stack, and it gives you a bigger version, gems are easy because it explains that to you, but what are some examples for fish?

I think transmuting two of the big pocketfish might make a permanent one. I know there's permanent fish in the game, but I'm not sure how to get them.
I think there are only permanent fish for either cat or dog though? At least that is all that I have ever seen. Would be cool if I could get permanent elementals.
I have a question:
If your pet is equiped with increased percentage of finding gold/magic items, they actually increase for you? Because I found a fish that increased my pets chance of finding gold by like 60% and magic by 80% or so for 300 seconds, which makes me assume that it actually does affect what is dropped?
Permanent fish exist that aren't cat/dog transformations, but are incredibly rare.

There's something wrong with my game. When I try to start it, nothing happens. There's no sign of Torchlight opening at all, not even an error message. However, when I look in my processes list, Torchlight is running, but I can't maximize it or whatever. Can someone help me?

Holy crap, I just ran into a glitch of some sort.. I somehow accidentally duplicated one of my unique pistols and a unique belt.. Both of the duplicates have no icons, but the background of the slot they are in is yellow, and they have the same stats.. Really. fucking. Weird.
It happened while I was messing about with the transmuter guy.

Play it after you finish DA:O, obviously.
I bought it for 7.5 € in the weekend, it's quite fun to mess around with until Diablo 3 comes out :v:

You can fish for permanent fish or transmute them. I once fished a giant web fish and a giant firefish.

Yeah, I found that out after I went through my portal to go fight and shit again, my game crashed, then when I went back in, they had icons! Crazy shit.. I still don't know how I duped them though, it just happened when they were in the transmuter guys box, and then i clicked to walk away, it gave me 2 back... Can't figure out how to do it again though.
