Does it normally take awhile to receive a forum verification email? I've already re-entered my email for a resend of the verification mail but still haven't gotten it.

I was sweating bullets while I was waiting.
Really? It was nearly instant for me.
Yeah, I found it really strange that it took so much time.
I had already registered so I wasn't worried.
God I really need to do something else for a while.
You can now purchase premium from your control panel in the forum. Right now its being done through the forum but we are working on it so it gets all done by a secure authentication system from the master game server.

If anyone has any issues with activating I can manually activate accounts if necessary, just drop me a PM on the forums.
Heck, I was just happy having access to the Premium Discussion Sub-Forum and getting a nifty green name when they gave away the Premium Accounts. Apparently these guys are real champs and gave us more than we bargained for: [t]http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/6461/awesomer.png[/t]

What are the main differences between this and it's SS13 predecessor (other than visuals)?
this seems pretty bitchin
Awww. I missed the giveaway for this great-looking game?
so I hope I have enough money in paypal to donate to planetary annihilation and purchase premium. assuming paypal can be used to purchase premium?
- Premium Status in the game (Extra gamemodes and maps just for Premium members)
I think the rest is great and all (I mean, getting free premium was pretty awesome, thanks for that) but I'm a but iffy about this specifically. I think I'd rather have as many people as possible get access to critical content like the maps and gamemodes mentioned rather than making some of it exclusive. I'd rather have something cosmetic for premium members (like maybe a different alternative outfit for every job, a different helmet, badges, alternative color scheme etc), as it would probably be less time-consuming to produce (I'm assuming) all the while making the gameplay and content available equally great for both regular and premium users.
What are the main differences between this and it's SS13 predecessor (other than visuals)?
Grimdarker and more serious. Don't expect Clowns or spesswizards (well, in standard wizard clothing anyway) in Centration.
changelings are going to really add some fucking fear in this game

[editline]20th August 2012[/editline]
to come back at this [23:34:18] Aaron Challis: It's a fair point. [23:34:44] Aaron Challis: The main idea was to give the normal game a full outfit of maps and game modes, but premium get a little bit extra - modified modes, expanded maps.
If engineering/science is a large part of the game, I think I know exactly how I'd want to wipe out everyone else on the ship. Part one of my plan would be to lock/weld myself into the engineering bay of the ship/station, where I would construct "power vampires". These guys would be as small as I could possibly make them while at the same time consuming and wasting an insane amount of power. I then place them individually in strategic, hard-to-find locations and hook them up to the grid. Nobody will really understand why the power is failing, because all of the other connection will be perfectly fine, and the generators will be all working at 100% max capacity. Stage two would be to focus these power-suckers in a way that I could intercept the power going to vital parts of the ship. For example, lets say that I find the main cables connected to the hydroponics/air recycling systems in charge of a certain part of the ship. I don't disconnect the cables, because that would be suspicious. Instead, I siphon off every last bit of electricity headed to that section of the ship. That would allow me to slowly shut down parts of the ship to other plays without permanently disabling them, giving me places to retreat to if things go sour.

[editline]20th August 2012[/editline]
Thanks for the feedback - we'll definitely take it on board, and we might even set up a poll to see what the general consensus is on the matter. The original idea was to provide small modifications to modes and maps for premium members but I felt that it might not be enough for players to want to purchase premium as opposed to normal. The original idea of Premium was to give those willing to pay a little extra early-access to content and some custom content. For example you'll get access to new modes first, you'll be our guinea pigs, as well as other premium features. But we'll wait to see what people generally want before making any changes to the current membership perks.
And then
I KILL ALL OF YOU ONE BY ONE, AHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA
[editline]20th August 2012[/editline] my automerge hnnng
Going into cryo sleep for this, defreeze me when the game has launched.

[editline]20th August 2012[/editline] Also I wonder if I'll be able to jerry-rig some electronics into a taser or something?
I'd be interested to know your thoughts on the Centration Premium Members vs Regular Members perks on our poll, there are generally two consensuses, so let us know! http://centration.co/ (The poll is on the right in the sidebar)
Well, I'm glad that you're willing listen to the community on those important matters.
Activation form, get out of the junk folder! It's filthy in there!
I am actually looking forward to whatever comes of this, the ideas behind it are brilliant.
