Is it just me, or is this game bugged with the NPC's going all in? I've had it twice now where I'll go all in with a hand, then they do in turn (they say "All in", push all of their chips in), yet they still have their money and it only deducted what would have been had they called?
That's how an all in works if one person can't match the funds. Basically, if you have 2000, and Brock and Claptrap have 7000 and each of you all in, the pot is split. There will be 6000 in the main pot and 10000 in the sidepot. If you win the hand, you'll get the main pot, and then the game checks on who would've won between brock and claptrap and awards them the sidepot. If it's just you and the other person, the side pot is just their excess funds and they win it by default.
There wasn't a mention of a sidepot during that hand. The game went as such; I had ~8k, and Brock had 40. Brock raised 12, I went all in, then he went all in in response. I ended up winning, but Brock still somehow had money left, despite choosing to go all in?

No one else can win it, so it just defaults back to brock right away.

He was willing to go all in, so he did an all in line/animation, but he really only called your bet, because betting more than that is an unnecessary risk that would really only serve to rub it in your face if he wins, but completely fuck him over if he loses
Yeah they're just being dramatic calling all in. I mean sometimes it can be a scare tactic but if there's no other players it's too late for that
Win 3 pots in a row.....fuck this challenge
Which character from 1 or 2 would you want in poker night 3?
Strong Bad and the Heavy for sure. I'm not a big fan of Penny Arcade, but I wouldn't mind seeing Tycho cameo, or perhaps play against Gabriel or an oversized Fruit Fucker. I actually got two achievements in Poker Night 1 today. And I also re-won the Iron Curtain (I won it on my old machine so I doubt I got a second one) and re-unlocked the Imp Max table.
Which character from 1 or 2 would you want in poker night 3?
Max. Then again, I have an unhealthy obsession with the hyperkinetic rabbity thing so it isn't a really difficult question for me.
Is it me or does the AI in Poker Night 2 have distinct personalities. For example, Ash is often all in whilst the others go from kinda willing to not willing.
I found this on the Telltale forums. http://samandmax.co.uk/2013/05/interview-with-dave-boat/ Dave Boat, the voice actor of Max in this game, and William Kasten are two different people. He's just a pretty spot-on sound-alike.

Did they use a different voice actor for this?" On hindsight I probably could have just read the credits but who reads those things anyways :v:
If or when they make a sequel, I demand they add Master Shake.
If or when they make a sequel, I demand they add Master Shake.
Yes. or Frylock playing and shake and meatwad have some lines too. (Like max does in 2) Would it be possible to mod poker night 1? SPecifically to make the telltale shield not activate automata.
Upon losing a hand, I'd die laughing if I heard his suit go: INTERNAL BLEEDING DETECTED MORPHINE ADMINISTERED
actually, gordon with ross scott vocing/writing would be rad
actually, gordon with ross scott vocing/writing would be rad
I was going to say that giving Gordon a voice would kill the character. But looking at Ross Scott, it's hard to say whether having him voice Gordon in a Poker Game would kill the character or strengthen him from a comedic standpoint.
