Has anyone worked out a way to reset/re-roll bounty challenges yet? I asked a few days ago and was told there is no way, but I still hold hope that someone might find a way. I just can't manage to win a showdown with a highcard like it requires, every time I get close one of the other players seems to fluke a pair on the 5th card, or have an ace when I would've won with a king high-card or whatever. It's frustrating as hell.
The only way I know is when you get the Bounty Roulette (when you play after winning a bounty), quit the game.
I think Ellis would be fun to play Poker with, personally.

I'd want to see Eli Vance. He certainly seems to be the type to play poker if the world wasn't in jeopardy from the Combine.

You've not seen half life 2 episode 2, have you?
[sp]Eli gets cheapshotted from behind by an Advisor while asking Alyx to be safe. Both you and Alyx are being telekinetically held against the wall, so you can't save him. Eli is then killed directly in front of you and Alyx before Dog manages to drive it off. The last few seconds of the game are Alyx crying over Eli's dead body. In case you're wondering, no, I did not sleep well the day I saw that.[/sp]
Besides's that, Eli's jokes from I remember consisted entirely of Gordon and Alyx 'getting together'. I'm not sure I'd want to hear incessant jokes about bedroom activities.

Death doesn't apply to The Inventory.
[sp]Doug walks past during the intro and he dies during the walking dead.[/sp]
I know I'm gonna get dumb bombed but i think the best possible character gearbox could've thrown in was Duke Nukem
Ash would rip on him for stealing all his one liners
If he goes all in and loses he could be all like
"Well, that's the second worst failure of my career."
He'd be entertaining table talk, he'd be funny, and could be a whipping boy. Gearbox could've shown that he was still a viable character, but NOOO
Nick could work too.
*Nick loses hand*
AWW TITS
True, but I still think Nick isn't as iconic and as funny. He's a lot more serious and frustrated, while Francis is more of a loveable asshole.

I'd be normally against Duke Nukem, but after listening to claptrap for 3 seconds...
Just bought this. Loving the cameos [sp]such as Doug and the bandit from TWD.[/sp]
Liking the jazz version of "Short Change Hero" as well.
If they make another game they should make the Player a silent fps protagonist, that way they can make jokes about the player but justify not talking or being seen
anyone unlock the BL2 items yet?
The problem with Duke Nukem is that he has little to no interesting personality. Everything he'd say would probably get old faster than the ones by the other characters.
-snip-
Really hoping TellTale releases another patch...
From what I can see in the Steam Forums, the update we got fixed very little. There's still tons of people reporting graphics bugging out, achievements not working, cards being read wrong, and TONS of people (myself included) not being able to even play the game.
I like TellTale a lot, I really hope I didn't waste my money on something that won't run on a machine capable of playing pretty much anything made by TellTale or Valve at decent visual settings.

In other news, according to Steam, I've played 25 minutes of Poker Night 2.
This means that I have spent nearly a collective half hour trying in vain to get the game to work.
:suicide:
Any way to start a completely new tournament? Like without the money?
That -320 000 is starting to get on my nerves.

Start a tournament, Alt-F4 when you lose a hand.
Finally got all the goodies. Now I just need to reach the 1 mil achievement and buy the rest of the portal set and I'm set.

I know a guy who actually does this.

Plus Duke's notorious for being a ripoff of Ash anyway, would be pretty redundant

if he just has to repeat lines over and over he'd fit in at the inventory :P
Seriously, I've got all the BL2 unlocks barring Zero's head and I don't think I care about this game anymore. Not funny, dialogue repetition out the ass, and fairly buggy
So I got a four of a kind with four kings. I went all in for shits.
GUESS WHO HAS FOUR ACES? FUCKIN' SAM!
I quit. Poker is a game for chumps.

In the Start of EVERYGAME whenever you are able to buy drinks, Always Buy Drinks for Brock and Sam. Trust me, it's easier.

Does it actually affect gameplay?
it makes their tells easier to spot, they play the same as they always would

I'm assuming you tried the compatibility mode and running it as administrator?

I haven't seen the Evil Dead Trilogy yet, but is there any difference between Ash in Evil Dead 1/2 and Ash in Army of Darkness? They keep specifically saying Army of Darkness and not Evil Dead, so I'm wondering why.
Not at all.
Also, go watch Evil Dead.
Holy shit man you're gonna have a good time.
You can skip one if you're hurting, 2 is what people remeber and is still the highlight, but Army is great.
The reason for that is that he's modelled after his Army of Darkness appearance, featuring a ripped shirt and the medieval gauntlet opposed to a chainsaw or plain blue shirt
Are you kidding there is a HUGE difference in the Ash from Evil Dead 1, and Army of Darknesss.
Are you kidding there is a HUGE difference in the Ash from Evil Dead 1, and Army of Darknesss.
I guess, but ED2 and Army are the same ash.
Honestly, ED1 is so different from the others I don't remeber it. It's the only one I don't care for nor have seen religiously.
It's been said before, but I think the big problem with PN2 was the mix of characters. Individually, any of these characters would have been good, but there's not enough variety between them (Two badasses, two robots, and Sam). I think fans should consider that when picking characters for their own dream line-ups.
With that in mind, I'd say Guybrush and Francis would make a good start. You have a swaggering braggart that's also friendly, somewhat naive, and personable, and Francis. With all his Francisness. That right there is some good variety to the experience, and some room for the two to play off of each other.
"So, you ever dealt with zombies?"
"Yeah. The zombie wasn't as bad as the ghost, demon, god, and voodoo-infused walrus, though."
Hey guys: Max never changed voice actors at all! Turns out that "David Boat" was a just a pseudonym for William Kasten.
