Just before the finale of the game, there will be spiders all over the place eating up your team. Then you will have flashbacks of them getting eaten, but this time, you see the spiders inside out.
I thought you were alone in this game.
You're such a butthurt

spoiling butthurt
Whoops, sorry. Added spoiler tags. Another time you see a spider is the time when [sp]your teammate "ignored you when you got back and didn't notice" then the lights dim out, and you get flashbacks of spiders inside out in your mind, then when the lights went back up, the guy was already eaten in half, and was inside out.[/sp]
Well I never liked him anyways
You can't spell the [sp][/sp] tags without spelling the first two letters of spider.
I am not afraid of the word spider. Just the creatures themselves
I understand. Just mind [sp]the spider eating inside out people flashbacks[/sp].
Well the spiders are probably doing them a favor, considering that it would be very painful to be inside out.
This happened near the end of the game during one of the rush parts: (Spoilers I guess)

Fuck, I have Nightmare House 2 running in the task bar. Since I'm using Windows 7, you can hover your cursor over the icon in the task bar and the window will "preview" fullscreen on your monitor. I accidentally hovered my cursor over the Nightmare House 2 icon and the fucking creepy eye thing you see in the intro when you boot up the game popped up on my monitor. I shitted all over the place.
There are no spiders in NH2. Not even a headcrab. No idea why the other guy is trying to put you off it. But yeah, no spiders in NH2.
oh god that eye in the tv scared me shitless , im too afraid to go pass the doors :ohdear:

I somehow mixed these 3 ending loops together. It's about 1 minute and 50 seconds long, now. First time using audacity.

I loved that music. The rest of the game soundtrack is pretty dark, but when you [sp]choose to fight the boss instead of leaving, it's like you're actually in control for the first time, attacking instead of running, and the music reflects this.[/sp]
i used the hl2 surface prop manifest and renamed it to trick nh2 to think i have ep2 , i get some missing textures and models but its playable :c00lbert:
I see people loves the boss music as much as I do, I asked the NH2 music creator (koolfox) to make a full remix of it! lets see how it goes.
[sp]Did anyone else get "DON'T LOOK BEHIND YOU" after the room where the Intercom Lady said "We would like to notify you that there is someone behind you."?
I got it, then decided to stop there. After coming back, and entering the same room, that text didn't show up. I turned around and there was nothing there. I don't know what was behind me when it said that the first time. I had enough scares for the time being.[/sp]
Spoilers just in case. Hope someone got this as well.
The creepy text is a part of the random scare system, it can happen any time and any where.
Maybe I'm late but there's a Cloverfield easter eggs, when they're talking about a flaming homeless guy in the dark tunnel, Hud (the cameraman) said that in the movie. :eng101:
Haha loved that part. I really liked those guys. Made me feel better by not being alone.
[sp]However I hated it when they told me to get into a vent, and when I got up there and looked out, they were all dead and just corpses.[/sp]

Yes!

Worked great, I almost crapped myself when the HELP started spamming the subtitle field.
Tell me you don't need CS: S .
Loved it. I can definitely see where the mod drew its inspiration from. F.E.A.R. and its expansions, Condemned, Silent Hill, even some of the hallway mindfucks reminded me of Afraid of Monsters.
[sp] Also, I loved the part where you set the whole place on fire [/sp] A bit of action was great for the pacing, most horror games get stuck in the tension/puzzle loop. In fact, your pacing was top quality, comparable to a Valve game. A lot of modders don't understand the importance of pacing, ESPECIALLY in horror.

Ah yeah, the fire part was great. A bit of action. Zombies, fire, shit falling. I just ran away trying to dodge the zombies.
You know, i don't know if everyone figured this already, but is Ramero's first name John?

I honestly reckon they got a handful of inspiration from the Penumbra series, just the atmosphere seems alike.
Just beat the mod. My word was it high quality. I tip my hat to you folks. :tiphat:
Done !
That was great, maybe less scary than the first one, but the quality is better.
The Squad dude were funny. [sp]RIP, you were great guys.[/sp]
I'm thinking of downloading this and recording my playtrough, I'm one of the most easiest startled persons on the planet.
Even freak out when I get backstabbed in TF2..
Anyone interested in such video(s) and laughing at me? :v:
Rate agree if you want this to happen, I'll start downloading at 10.

Yes, yes. Very much.
Here's another easter egg.
[sp]On the last chapter when Romero gives you the option in the elevator, leave the elevator and go to the door behind the desk and open it. Your flashlight will flick off, go to the room on the left. This is the announcement room, you will hear the announcer say "I do not wish you to see me like this, please leave now". There is a burned body sitting at the announcement panel.[/sp]
Slightly related, emily_reversed_r5 says "I'm naughtier than the announcer".
with that easter egg [sp]pick up the swats flashlight from his head shine it in that room theres a shadow of a woman[/sp]

Wow, good work. I didn't expect anyone to find that for months at least.
