It looked like the mannequins talked to each other in a circle, plotting how to scare the crap out of me. I really loved the parts where the world warps around you like a nightmare. Zombies don't scare me that much, just keep hitting em or destroy some powersource and they will become dead again eventually. After playing a lot of shooters, you just "know what to do", it's becoming routine, the poison of tension, surprise and horror. But I was so clueless in that room with dead ends until it started getting smaller and smaller... that was delicious mind-fuckery and I enjoyed every second of it. Thank you for making this mod. Valve should take some notes if they really want to make Episode 3 as scary as they told us.

Valve know how to scare us. Think of NH2. But fifty times.

The problem seems to be that I am not praising this mod as much as you and/or I am not saying things like "I would pay for this mod!!" Meh being an aquitance with critiques myself I can tell you that critique is only worth shit when you give it directly to the author and give atleast some info on how you think he could improve. Then again there's this die-hard 12yo fanbase who thinks this is far better than any source game. I liked NH2 but it's still sub-bar compared to valve games and some mods even.

I hope he takes my critique on-board, if he ever decides to develop another mod like this. Great mod, just played I loved it, I can definitely see where you drew inspiration from, its a good thing you incorporated different types of scare tactics from different types of games, the shooing broke up the horror scenes just enough to make it scary again when your separated. Cheers.

If I were replying to everyone who posted about their enjoyment of this mod, this thread would be littered with my posts. It seems they are not. Also, the point about the dictionary definitions and being "1337" confuse me. What relevance does that have?

Man I wish I could play this. Shit looks great, but I usually stop 'scary' games the very second I am genuinely scared, and never play it again. Just a month ago I tried playing Singularity, but I closed the game when a toy ball came bouncing down the stairs and I heard child's laughter. Fuck.

I read the first 10 pages of this thread, and read all the spoiler tags because I'm a pussy and sure as hell wasn't gonna download the mod. I left the room where I keep my computer, leaving the door open behind me. Wind made the door swing shut, making a loud clanking noise. I fucking shat bricks.

Wombo194 yeah these things are awesome, I wouldn't say they served as a huge inspiration but we did thought about them while making our fast zombies.
