I think the only part of the game that made me jump and scream "OH FUCK SHIT" was the part where [sp]you heard some water dripping you see a shower to the right and go "OH okay so it's that." You walk by and then suddenly a body just flys the fuck out and hits a wall...OH FUCK SHIT is all that can summarize that moment.[/sp]

115/10 Great mod, great atmosphere, great everything. This has got to be one of the best singleplayer mods I've ever played. The lines were amazing too, most quotable lines I have ever seen in a mod. [sp]The line about scooby doo, "That's not a doctor, it's a zombie", and many others that I can't remember right now.[/sp] Oh and who else got the [sp]Portal reference at the boss fight. "But look at me still talking, when there's science to do.[/sp] Thank you Nightmare House team, you deserve a medal.

I started off playing the prologue and I'm like "really, this is it?", and didn't expect anything more. God damn was I blown away afterward, the quality improved drastically. This is one of the, if not the absolute best singleplayer mod I've ever played. Excellent work on this, made me shit my pants at least 8 times.

Damn. I played the first one a few months back, then played the remake. I thought it was pretty nice. Though this, holy shit this. Good bits: [sp] You go into that room, the doors seal off, the countdown from ten... I was going OHGODOHGODOHGOD, though then it opens up and says "Thank you for participating in this fire drill, if it was a real fire, you'd be dead by now" "I just can't stop thinking about how scary it be if a flaming homeless guy came out of the dark right now" "See? All those days of playing doom paid off" "Yeah okay just go ahead and break my shit, and you wonder why you don't have any friends" Oh and the hallway with the shadows of people... [/sp] I'm not usually interested in horror games, though this... This is great.

Wasn't really interested in downloading at first, but as I see people throwing compliments all around I think I'll give it a try.

I'm a person that never gets scared by anything but this game made me shit myself every time something locked or when the lights went out or any other occasional creepy parts I was screaming a lot but had so much fun
