Favorites Resident Evil - Games

I loved Survivor, but RE5 is at the top of the list for me right now. It's followed closely by RE4 and then Code Veronica.

Seriously, RE5 and 4 did 5 things. 1. Ruined the story 2. Made characters look like pussies 3. Changed Resident Evil forever, in a bad way 4. Killed one of the most awesome characters ever 5. Went totally away from what Resident Evil was about

I dunno. RE5 had the best Chris and Wesker. I doubt Wesker is dead though. Jill was made ugly. REmake had the best Jill. RE5 was also a really cool action movie.

Resident Evil 4 was probably the best, as it was one of the most graphically advanced games to exist at the time it came out, and the gameplay was pretty much flawless. It's always talked about as one of the best games of all-time. And it still had [i]some[/i] scary parts, although most were sacrificed for the cliche action scenes.

Its hard to compare really. I think I enjoyed the earlier ones better as individual games but I really did enjoy playing 4 and 5 more.

Love RE3 the most. RE4 was also quite nice but was nowhere a zombie game. RE5 I played like 20 minutes and then shut of, maybe I'll try it more someday but not likely. What I liked about Resident Evil can't be found in that game. The controls(still bad) is better then the previous games though.

God damn it who ever voted for 4 and 5 are not Re fans. I also voted for outbreak best coop game ever.

I never had the chance to play either Outbreaks online before they took the servers offline.

RE2 and RE3 were my all time favourites and scared me more then any of the other games. Then comes CVX(I loved it to fuck though because of how much storyline was in it), RE1 and Zero. RE4 and 5 aren't even RE games in my books. They are good games, but they just changed too much shit to be considered an RE game.

Oh fuck that leechman thing was horrible. I remember when it first came out of that vent thing. I ran out the room and there it was again and all I had was a broom and I was scared to death. Also that plant on the Second level looks like a vagina and when you kill it, its just like "Seriously guys? C'mon".

RE2, Resident Evil Outbreak 1/2 multiplayer, and RE4. I thought RE5 was okay, just not scary and the story was the "cliche-cheesy-MICHEALBAYSPOLSION" type of story. Thought the coop was decent.

Resident Evil 5's entire purpose was to be like a B Action movie. Just like the original RE is supposed to be a B Horror movie. Same with RE4

I love all the Resident Evil games. That said, 5 was sort of a mixed bag. The story sucked and so did the atmosphere. But the gameplay was a carbon copy of Resident Evil 4 (Not a bad thing) and the addition of coop gives me a reason to keep playing it with my buddies when I get the chance. I'd give it a 7/10. The Resident Evil Remake, Resident Evil 2, and Resident Evil 4 are the best of the series.
