Games you wish you hadn't bought. - Games

Crysis - It went on sale the next day. Stalker Clear Sky - So buggy that I could barely play the game. Far Cry 2 - Way too repetitive. Assassin's Creed - Great game, but after you beat it, nothing else to do with it.

Far cry 2- multiplayer still doesn't work, most of the 'open' terrain forces you to stick to the roads, the 'open' terrain that is truely open is fantastically boring. no allies whatsoever, campaign missions repetitive as fuck, pointless cell tower missions, voice acting sounded like the actors were on speed, and spoke a million words a second. The jackal was a total letdown, not only was his appearence utterly laughable, but his stupidass 'meaningful' speeches were very tiresome to hear. seeing clones/interchangeable voices with every person you came across shattered immersion. there were only 2 female mercenaries in the entire game. very limited dialog - head the same stupid conversation at least 3 times in one trip to town. 'Reputation' did jack shit, all it really provided was another 4 lines of dialog that npcs would occasionally utter, did not change combat dynamics AT ALL. towards the end of the game the story cycles through and elmilinates at least 6 characters that were utterly unremarkable, and are onl seen once, and are pretty much identical for each faction. despite claims that the country was on the brink of war, with battle lines being drawn you only ever saw members from either faction at checkpoints and in towns, totalling MAYBE 100-200 mercenaries. half assed explosions- exploded vehicles would just turn a burn dark brown color the same model. grass did the same- just a dark brown and shorter version of savana grass. bodies dissapeared in the water once they fell in. AI was atrocious, occasionally emplying seek and destroy tactics, mainly revolved around the 'lets sit and die now' mentality, absolutely no response to a friendly AI killing another friendly AI: driver runs a friend over, turns around dries away, the squashed man's friends look around for attacker, driver drives back, gets out and joing the search...

Orange Box TF2 is like $9.99 right now or used to be and it's the only game I play on it, Ep2 and Portal were short and not worth the $50 price tag.
