I would say the orange box. Not because it sucked, it's a great pack, but half the game in there I will never play them because they are multiplayer only old game and most of the time I can't find servers for them. I repeat, I do not hate any of those games, it's just that I won't be able to play most of them.
...Isn't TF2 the only online game in the orange box...?
Need to play it with someone else.
You really can't since most of the servers are passworded unless you mean with people you know.
BF3 You know why.
The whole point of Magicka is to play with people you know, that's probably why all the servers are passworded. You don't even need to know them IRL, just find steam friends. [editline]20th August 2011[/editline]
BF3 You know why.
Uneducated assumptions on the game with nothing to support them?
Uneducated assumptions on the game with nothing to support them?
Origin and the browser-based serverlist list aka battlelog. I like to stick to one main platform like Steam.
Battlefield 2 and Team Fortress 2. Good god I suck ungodly amounts of ass at these games. Fuck learning curves and shit, I just want to have fun. Every time I'm in a vehicle, there's some invisible vehicle that just has to blow me up. And when I'm on the ground, I get killed. I don't hear any bullet sounds or explosions, I just die. I checked my BF2 stats and I had like 38 kills and 85 deaths. I'm done trying. I haven't even leveled up ONCE. I'm stuck at private. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to do something specific to level up, but I constantly seem to have that stupid little bar representing progress to the next level at the same place after like five matches. And I don't think it was EVER explained to me what those three rectangles with fast forward buttons in front of them are. It's hard to explain. They're in each class slot. I'm not sure if that's progress to next unlock for that class or something.
Origin and the browser-based serverlist list aka battlelog. Like I said though, you probably just went into the news thread about it and read the first few comments. Oh, but you're also probably one of those dumbasses who thinks you have to go through the startup screen every time you launch the game to a server from browser. As for "I'd RATHER STICK WITH STEAM", you realize origin isn't some horrible demon program that's bent on ruining your gameplay/games? Unless the idea of having origin in the background is painful to you, to which I don't really have a solution for that!
The Ship Why no one plays it? It's such a good game.
The Ship Why no one plays it? It's such a good game.
I remember playing on a no prison deathmatch server, we had loads of fun!
Haze. Haze just 100 times over.
Haze. Haze just 100 times over.
Was that not the FPS where you are on some weird space drugs that make you stronger?
Was that not the FPS where you are on some weird space drugs that make you stronger?
Yeah. Then you switch sides to the guys you were murdering without a care in the world as you realize that the drug is hiding the true face of war, and you are appalled. Well, you were meant to be anyway, all I know is I was appalled, but for all the wrong reasons. That game killed Free Radical, not cool.

I haven't played the Alpha or else i'd might not have written any of this at all.
As for "I'd RATHER STICK WITH STEAM", you realize origin isn't some horrible demon program that's bent on ruining your gameplay/games?
My worst dream come true. No, i've tried out Origin and didn't like it, it's my opinion and you can't say nothing to change my mind.
I don't think I've ever bought a game and regretted it, not yet at least. I have played a game that I hated so much I regretted playing it. That game was Borderlands. I got it for free (no I didn't pirate it) and it was so absolutely terrible I actually felt bad having played it all the way through.
Hitman: Codename 47 yeah I know it's a classic or whatever but it's also a piece a fucking shit This is why: I love the story of Hitman, it's fucking awesome. But the gameplay is just ugh. There's little to no actual stealth, all the missions are pretty much trial and error, the controls are a joke, the guns are shitty, the sniper rifle especially sucks asshole, and maybe it's just my version of the game but there's this song when I pause and it's just a piano playing the same annoying fucking notes over and over I know what with the technology of the time they probably couldn't have made it better but it just really doesn't hold up. That being said, there is some awesome shit in the game, like the part where you try to poison Lee Hong, and then kill his bodyguard.
I want to know why people say they regret buying Borderlands. I don't say you should like the game, everybody has his opinion, but that's exactly what I want to know, your opinion about it and why you don't hate it.

E.T.
you can register the Steam CD Key on Origin and download a version that won't require Steam to be running, or Origin to be running, and play it.
I don't really know about that. I heard that Origin forces you to re-buy a game you got from Origin every 2 years.
Black Ops. It was on sale and I figured it wouldn't be on sale again for a long time so I bought it. Multiplayer is so rage-inducing.
Bulletstorm
Brutal legend because of the second half becoming an RTS. Lego Harry Potter - what was I thinking? Stormrise - Horrible game Turok - Never enjoyed it, ight have to try it again sometime now that I haven't played it in ages. GRAW2 - It just didn't seem fun to me. LBP - I don't find the building mode very fun.

Plus you can cancel your preorder, so I don't really see how you regret 'buying' it.
Origin and the browser-based serverlist list aka battlelog. I like to stick to one main platform like Steam.
While I somewhat agree with your opinion (server browser should just be in game, it'd be nice if it was on steam) basing your regret to buy a game on something that isn't directly related to the gameplay itself, but rather on the externals of getting into the game seems like a butthurt reason to "wish you hadn't bought it". We've all gone through worse things than web based server browsers to get into games before and from what I hear, it's actually really fast anyway so it shouldn't really be a problem You don't even need origin installed after you install BF3 to play (or so i've heard, I may be wrong about this), so having origin installed shouldn't be a reason to not buy it, either way though at least it's not as bad as having to deal with ubisoft DRM that wont even let you play unless you're online (and sometimes it wont even let you play anyway), or even some of the other game launchers that are around at the momemt(fuck everything about the sims 3 launcher). As far as steam goes... I guess it can't be helped, but if you want to use steam chat in game you can always add it as a non steam game
i returned an xbox game today and they gave me like 50 bucks store credit so i got a gamecube but they didn't have pikmin :(
EVE online, cost- 3 euros
The thing i remember best is the insane amount of health all enemies have, which i remember was the reason i fought a bear for like ten minutes, throwing fireballs while going backwards and jumping onto something once in a while.
You just need to know what you're doing when you build your character, the first time I played it I hated it but I started a new game with some knowledge of how to distribute stats and I could kill most of the low level and wildlife enemies in 1-3 hits about 2 hours in. Just make sure to stay focused on what kind of character you want to be, if you try being a jack of all trades it will be insanely hard.
