Games you wish you hadn't bought. - Games

Red Dead Redemption. The game itself is amazing, everything from the look of the game down to the really polished gameplay. Despite this, I just couldn't get into it, the characters just weren't interesting to me and the missions weren't enjoyable for me. I think it mainly stems from my distaste for Westerns.

Worms Reloaded

Battlefield 2142 Crysis 2 - Story was horrible and no-one played multiplayer past a couple weeks after release.

I loved Red Dead Redemption but I sort of regret buying it because I completely ran out of things to do after my second play through and never really touched it after that.

In the process of hyping it, they gave away the entire story (which wasn't exactly great to begin with). In the beginning part of the game, it had you going around as this super soldier that was high on a drug called Nectar, which basically gave you aimhacks, wallhacks and invincibility in game. The whole idea was that these soldiers are supposed to be practically impossible to kill and you could only really kill them from behind. Then when you learn the "shocking" truth that the nectar kills people, you switch to the rebels side and give up your drug hacks for roll hacks and apparently incredibly powerful weaponry that no rebel had before (that just happens to be the same weaponry they were using the whole time) as you can now without a care in the world go around taking down the super soldiers as if they weren't wearing body armour and jacked up on performance enhancing drugs. It was a sham, I hated the game so much that I let a friend borrow it and not return it and I completely forgot about its existence until I saw the thread title for this thread. [editline]21st August 2011[/editline] Also I kind of wish I hadn't bought Red Dead Redemption. I didn't really feel like completing it but I pushed myself to anyway. The only reason I still have Red Dead Redemption is because of Undead Nightmare, which is absolutely awesome. It could've been a standalone game and I would've bought it.

Harry Potter: Deathly Hallows part 1 for xbox360 I really enjoyed these games when I was young but this one is where harry still can't remember any of his previous spells and decides to use his wand like a machine gun whilst taking cover behind objects, it has some weird dungeon teleportation system to get around there's only one thing to do in most levels and it's just shoot up some bad guys with your wand - I missed him being in Hogwarts and doing puzzles/finding secrets in hogwarts.
