Dragon Age Origins
Way too repetitive and slow
Origins was pretty good, in my opinion. DAO2, on the other hand, was outright shit.
Black Ops is the biggest one of note to me. Not that I didn't think it wasn't a potentially alright game but it would have been nice if it could have actually fucking run on my system t find out. Can max out MW2 but no no, BO has to be a shit when trying to play nice. Waste of money
Ugh, Black Ops... Playing that on the free weekend a while back, my computer FROZE COMPLETELY in the two rounds I played of it, within 7 minutes each time.
Never gonna buy any Call of Duty games. Mainly because the series seems "meh" to me.
Spore, Mount & Blade : Fire & Sword, Mount & Blade(Original).
Just to name a few :v:

Yeah, I agree. But I like Warband a lot, feels more like a complete game (compared to the first).
Tekken 4. Seriously why did I buy that... I wanted a decent fighting game, made me play my dragonball z budakai 3 a lot more often though. Makes me realize what a great game that really is in comparison.
well it was good when it first came out
now it's just a clusterfuck of hats and overpowered weapons
For me it does spoil some of the great gameplay it had but it really shows how amazing the developers are, all the free stuff, and its not even all bugfixes there are tons of new content (good or bad) and its free. Puts COD games to shame in comparison.
Fallout 3 prehaps. Bought it last week and at the moment it seems a bit depressing, walking round a wasteland, getting attacked by mutants, drinking and eating to get health then getting Radiation Sickness.

So you regret buying it because it's atmospheric?
Ok
Borderlands was disappointing tbh. Worms: Reloaded too.
After buying MW2 recently, and enjoying every aspect of the game with a friend (spec-ops, teaming up with a friend on demolition matches) I decided to buy black ops. And let me say something right now: I'm running a 955 oc'd to 4 ghz, with a HD6870. I decided to play the single-player. Loaded up fine, the first cutscene ran fine. As soon as I exit the first room in the first mission, I shit you not: 4fps. Put all the settings on minimum: 10fps. Closed game, never touched again. Fuck you treyarch.
Universe at War - One of the worst RTS's I've ever played.
Red Alert 3 - Another horrible RTS that is an insult to its predecessors.
Cryostasis - Pretty much a stale, repetitive tech demo. Great graphics, but boring gameplay and level design.

Make sure to try out some mods
I must be the only person in existance who seemed to actually enjoy spore. I do dislike the tribal and civilisation stages but otherwise it was pretty solid.
Mafia II. Now don't get me wrong, it's one of the best games I've ever played where it comes to the storyline, immersiveness (is that even a word?) and the kickass 50's atmosphere, but it doesn't hold a candle to the original Mafia, was way too short and it didn't have that something that made me play through the GTA IV storyline more than once. Oh, and Vito is a really bland character.
Deus Ex 1.
Not because it was a bad game, but because that a few missions in it went into ludicrious speed.
its the first game to use 256 players in 1 match online, hopefully the last, too
Quite frankly 256 players in one match can work in a very, very, very, very big map.

I actually liked Spore too.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2, because my friend can't play it without bluescreening :v:
Bad Company 2 for PC - I started to be unable to use the server browser, and then my disc got corrupted somehow.
Portal 2. Terrible game.....................................................
LOL. LET'S GET REAL.
but HONESTLY, I hated hated hated FUCKIN' MIRROR'S EDGE.

I agree. I liked Spore. My friends and I spent hours just making the craziest shit.
I think the general agreement is that spore was two good games separated by three shit games in the middle.

Creature was good too, but only because of the creature creator, which was awesome, rest of creature was crap.
I'm sure this has been mentioned in this thread many times (:v:), but Call of Duty: Black Ops. Damn I wish I had that $60 back :frown:
The only game i think i actually REGRET buying is ArmA 2.
I just can't get into it. The pacing is too slow for my liking, the controls are complicated and i just cant enjoy it. War simulators are just not my thing at all.

Register the key on Origin if you can bear to download the game.

Sounds like you just have a bad taste in video games.

Hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngh
Nerd rage incomming.
Amnesia.
It just didn't start and now i can't even trade it.
Borderlands - Although it was fun to begin with, without friends it was REALLY dull, the weapons weren't really very varied, there were just very obviously 'better' guns, and it was fairly repetitive past a few missions.
Mafia II - no free roam after full story, also lack of things to do outside of missions.

also blops

Why would anyone get mad at him? He didn't say it was a bad game, just that it wasn't his taste. Which is totally reasonable. I love ArmA 2 but games like that definitely aren't for everyone. I love it but I can list ten reasons right now why someone else might hate it.
I regret buying Black Ops for PC...maybe its just me but the multiplayer is full of inexperienced\annoying\mindless\pissed off\hacking 12-year-old kids...and the singleplayer story sucks just like the whole game...the graphics are slightly better than MW2...its freezing and crashing sometimes...its truly a pice a shit...what did I do?
I left it in my basement...it will burn in the winter to keep me warm :3
I never gonna buy a single CoD game again...
Brink
Fun sure for 10 hours
