Red Dead Redemption - It was so hyped up and got good reviews so I bought it when it first came out. God, what a disappointment that was. I find it was too slow and it took forever to get anywhere. I only got like halfway through before I had to stop playing it.
Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 - Nothing is wrong with the game, I just have yet to own a computer that can play it.
Spore - I actually enjoyed the game, I just didn't like the DRM.
Maximo - I was young and had a hard time getting into it.
Morrowind (Xbox) - I bought it only a little while ago and I can't get past the graphics.
CounterStrike: Source - I only bought it for the textures in Garry's Mod
Halo:Reach - I have always felt like it just is not as good as any of the other Halo games (before and since).
GTA 4 - Fuckin' pigeons man. I have one left.
Edit: Wow fuck I meant Halo:ODST. Thanks for pointing that out elowin.
Only games I regret buying are Rage and Saint's Row The Third.

I didn't really like GTA IV either when I bought it around the Christmas sales on Steam. I played GTA:SA avidly for the longest time when it came out(around 500 or so hours logged) and GTA IV in comparison just felt extremely linear, doing the same shit over and over again, and feeling like it absolutely has no content in comparison to GTA:SA. It got so mind numbing in GTA IV that I didn't even pay attention to the story anymore, it was just driving out to the set map-marker and either killing shit, fetching something, picking someone up to do uninteresting shit, or just going some place for the sake of going there.
The most memorable missions at all for me is the bank robbery, and driving around in the garbage truck because they seemed to be the most unique, and actually fun. Still an okay game though, don't regret buying it for the price I got it( 7,50€ for the entire GTA collection, worth it for just GTA 2 alone, IMO. )
RAGE
Killing Floor
Bulletstorm

Did you just play the regular old CSS games? There's a lot more too it with a bunch of mini-game servers, surf servers, zombie mode servers, and a bunch more stuff.
World of Warcraft + expansions: Oh, I wasted too much time and money on this pile of shit.
Modern Warfare 3: Played it for a few hours and haven't played it since.
Civilization 5: I just keep losing motivation to play the game and can barely get past a few hundred turns in a game before rage quitting.
RAGE
Fallout 3
Bioshock
Hearts of Iron 3
L.A. Noire
MW3
Hinterland
About it i think...
Hellgate: London was pretty terrible.

Don't forget zombie surf servers!

The Haunted: Hells Reach.
You just get swarmed by enemies till you die. I even tried to force myself to like the game.

Wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait.
Is this counting ODST?
Got the Collector's Edition of Skyrim...and I ended up getting bored of the game after 5 hours.
Skyrim is a relly good game, but they screwed up the atmosphere as in depth, and quests.
It feel kind of schallow compared to Oblivion, while still Skyrim is in my opinion better than Oblivion.
Like, 50 in a scale from 1 to 10.
It's just this little thing they screwed, which is preventing the game to be addicting.
Alone in the Dark on PC. Holy fucking shit the controls are horrible.
how bad are the controls?
Print screen is the key for jumping off of ropes. I'll just leave it at that.
You can just reassign them, can't you?
I bought Alone in the Dark for $60 when it came out. I couldn't run it. In fact, my graphics card was so bad at the time that the cloth physics fucked up. From what I played of it, I thought it was the best game ever. However, that wasn't very much, so I packed it up and left it until I upgraded.
I upgraded my PC last year to something where I could run it on the highest settings. I dug it out of the cardboard box and it was really dusty. I plopped it in with fond memories of having fun and being excited to finally play it on high with a good framerate.
Good lord, I must have been having dillusions. It's such a badly ported game. Regardless, the fire shit is pretty damn cool, but it's a really disgustingly-made game.

Really?
BF2142. It was just a reskin for BF2, really...
Any Nexon Game. I spent way more money than I should have on their games...
Dawn of War 2. I preordered it and it turned out to be just... ugh. Multiplayer was bad, campaign was mediocre at best.
Alone in the Dark on PC. Holy fucking shit the controls are horrible.
I feel you bro, I bought that game for $2.50 at a thrift store and I regret spending that much. The controls of the original were clunky by today's standards, but I think the reboot beats it just barely. Couldn't even make it past the first few mission.
Also, most recently, I regret buying Payday: The Heist. It was during the winter sale fiesta, and I bought it solely for the achievement. It has literally no story, and playing it online is only good if everyone has a mic. Otherwise there is literally no communication and therefor apparently no teamwork, it's like robbing banks with a bunch of primates.
Spider-Man 3
The only real game i feel like i could have not purchased was Far Cry 2.
It's not that i think it's a bad game, it's got it's fun moments...but it's just so obnoxious. It starts out slow. And everything just feels the same. Get mission, go here, shoot these guys (Who take at least 3 shots to the head, maybe 5 to the chest to die.)
Not to mention the game is like 20 minutes of driving to get from point A to point B, which wouldn't suck if there was something to do, but it's just constant swerving on shitty African roads.
Also, it's annoying that every single person you run into while travelling immediately starts shooting at you. I knew Africa sucked, but goddamn, it can't possibly be that bad.

Oh, and Malaria. Fuck that noise.

Spore was so overhyped, and it turns out it wasn't a game, more of a shitty toy.
