This is a thread about games you wish you hadn't bought, I'd imagine complaining about video games would come with the territory.
Well yeah and he decided to disagree with your complaint, where's the big deal
I'm sorry I have to say that, but I'll have to say skyrim. It's good, like, really good. Every single of my friends say it's good. And then I ask them when they played for the last time. most of them haven't played it for a few monthes. It's simply not addicting. It's not that easy to get into it. It's not that I regret playing the game, it's that I think I would've been better off borrowing it from a friend and saving up money for a computer.

I can never do repeated playthroughs of the story but I find myself starting up Oblivion every now and then just to have fun with the NPC's.
I don't understand how someone could have such shitty opinions.
Maybe because Ep1 was rather boring? I found it to be ok aswell. Nothing out of this world or even close to that though. And the SP in cod mw3 is shit. Even the multiplayer can be better. OR /opinions, none of them are shitty.
I've only got a few, I'm pretty good at knowing what I'm going to enjoy and I generally feel that I get my money's worth out of a game. I don't usually get games as soon as they come out, so I get a chance to have a look at some videos of them and also get them a bit cheaper. The few I can think of that I wish I hadn't got: Spore: I liked it for a little while, but it got boring soooo fast. I definitely haven't got my money's worth out of it and I don't think I'll be picking it up again. Greed corp: A little turn-based strategy indie game I saw on steam. It looked like my sort of game, but I just couldn't get into it. It was really cheap, but I've hardly played it at all. Shatter: Another little indie game on steam, this time an interesting-looking breakout clone, that I though would be good when I'm bored and want something mindless to do. It's the winner of the "Most nauseating game I've ever played" award. I don't know why, but something about the way things move on the screen and where your attention is focused literally makes me feel sick after a few minutes. It's quite a good game actually, but I can't play it. I'm going to say cortex command as well, even though it isn't finished yet. I've bought it, but in it's current state I really don't find it enjoyable at all. To me it seems to only have two difficulty settings: boring and impossible. I hope it will get better, but I'm divided on whether I should have bought it when I did.

I hope they follow the Formula Obsidian practically just GAVE them for Fallout 4. Keep the ruleset and aim for equal depth. Really. Why would i have a companion that hasn't got a personality?
Rainbow Six : Vegas I cant run it :(
I was thinking of buying it, what makes you regret it?
It's essentially Soul Calibur IV over again; the character editor is slightly improved and it has this odd voiced-over storyboard-style campaign, (which I personally thought was cheesy and I hated.) If you don't have Soul Calibur IV or you really liked it, then yeah go ahead. I only bought it to have a fighting game to play with my buddies and I'm regretting not getting either Street Fighter or UFC 3 instead.
Duke Nukem Forever. ... Balls of steel edition as well.
Duke Nukem Forever. ... Balls of steel edition as well.
Ouch.
Saints Row 3
Fable 3 Collectors Edition. Less content, dumbed down nonsense, even less to complete. I beat it twice considering the first time as king i wiped out my entire population, but even then its not good. And i cant be assed to do anything with the online trading of rare world items or whatever. Darksiders, because Yahtzee said it best, its not so much a homage to Zelda as it is ripping its very heart out. Its so similar to Zelda when you play dungeons and the combat is bland after a while. Not to mention the difficulty turns from difficult to extremely easy by the time you reach the later bosses. TMNT Turtles In Time Re-Shelled, dont do it because what youll get is a 15 dollar waste of time when you could buy Castle Crashers and get way more enjoyment out of a beat'em up for that price. Sonic 2006, which i bought used for 5 dollars, and i dont have to say a single thing about that broken pile of shit or its atrocious story. Fat Princess, started good until it went in a new direction and added stupid DLC that i dont agree with. Simpsons Arcade, buying it for full price was a mistake since its so terribly short, i should have waited for it to go down at some point, but it isnt a bad game so much as overpriced for what it is.
Call of Juarez: The Cartel, this review by Yahtzee pretty much summed up all the problems why: Oh, and Far Cry 2, the game were everywhere you go, you'll always get bullets shot at towards your bum.
From Dust.
ME3 I really liked the story, the combat, the ending, pretty much everything BUT It has 0 replay value, I finished it over a week of mass affecting and after finishing it I have no reason to play through all its missions again, I mean generally its pretty obvious what will happen and really there is only 1 or 2 major choices which you make in the whole game ([sp] either to take the awesome geth robot warriors or the gayass garbage qarians and weather to own the galaxy or blow everything up[/sp]
Dead Island. The bugs...The bugs just got so bad near the end of the game I wasn't playing it for fun anymore, I was playing it just to get it over with so I wouldn't have to ever look at it ever again. It was an admirable effort and concept of a game but just dammit all those bugs got so breathtakingly tedious. Plus the visuals got damn ugly in the sewers, (play the Xbox version, and switch on the flash light, you WILL see what I mean). But I will give it one thing. The Quarantine Zone in the city was fantastically terrifying in SP.

I was playing online and the guy I was playing with left and some how for some reason the enemies would not spawn plus the last boss. The game looked so much scarier and a lot better back in EARLY development before they even thought of co-op. Zombies looked a hell of a lot scarier too.
I rented battlefield 3. RENTED. For a fiver. And I regret it. The single player was dull as fuck, but that's ok, I just wanted to try out the multiplayer. Maybe if that's good, I'll go out and actually buy it. Oh, wait. It's an EA game. Of COURSE you have to pay for a separate pass to play online. I mean, what sort of weird-ass game lets you play online straight out of the box? FUCK you EA. I hope you all get radioactive crabs from the filthy hooker you hired with your dirty money.
For a preowned game you have to. Buying it you don't.
I know, I know. It just really irritating. what's the point of locking content out of a game?
I know, I know. It just really irritating. what's the point of locking content out of a game?
Power, money, whores and lots of hick slaves who follow you as long as you keep the bible at hand.
Power, money, whores and lots of hick slaves who follow you as long as you keep the bible at hand.
Exactly. Fuck EA.
But the game is good.
Call of duty modern warfare 3 i tough it would be actually worth,And good but oh god i was so wrong
Halo 2 Vista.
I know, I know. It just really irritating. what's the point of locking content out of a game?
It's the only way for publishers to make money from pre-owned sales.
I seriously regret buying Brink. It was way too complicated with no tutorials that weren't confusing as all hell, and there wasn't ever anyone online. I also wish I hadn't bought Dead Island. Most repetitive gameplay ever, never challenged me once.
i played it for free on steam was a waste of bandwidth
Dinner Date Except someone bought it for me. I still wish I didn't have it.
