DiRT.
Can't run it smoothly even with lowest settings and I can run HL2: EP2 with all maxed up and 2x MSAA.
GTA IV (PC)
X-box 360 (The whole console)
Team Fortress 2.
I bought it ONE DAY before it went on sale, half off :emo:
A lot of PS2 and Xbox games that I have.
Portal, good game but really short and nothing to do after you finish it and the bonus levels.
Battle for Middle Earth, the first one. They advertised this game as something similar to the Total War series, only for me to find out that the unit scale was quite small and didn't live up to the LotR series at all.
Far Cry 1
Flatout
Burnout Paradise
The Simpsons Game
Alone in the Dark (The new one, and only because I can't run it. :v:)
Resident Evil 4
GTA San Andreas
All of the Tony Hawk series (I bought pretty much all of them and regret most of them.)
Nintendo Wii. I love the Wii so dearly, but I haven't played it in like 8 months.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R - Short and not much freedom to move around.
Assassin's Creed - Oozes with repetiveness
Far Cry 2 - Boring and Overrated
Crysis - Bad Storyline and You need a very good PC specs to enjoy the graphics.
Battlefield Bad Company - Short Story line and crap multiplayer
Age of Conan - Filled with bugs and lag.

Bull-shit.
L4D - Repitive
Far cry 2 - Gets boring after a while
ArmA - buggy as hell
Crysis - Couldn't run it
Masters of Orion 3. Not worth even $10.
Halo 1 for the PC. I'm sorry, it was only anything special on the Xbox...
Buying an xbox 360.
Oh, and Mall Tycoon. The fucking store guy convinced me to get Mall Tycoon instead of Zoo Tycoon.
Zoo Tycoon kicked ass.
Mall Tycoon licked ass.
Wow, that guy has horrible taste in games. Mall Tycoon sucked eggs, but just seeing Zoo Tycoon makes me want to go find my discs. I'm going to now, thanks.
Bull-shit.
Agreed. If you hate S.T.A.L.K.E.R., hate it for legitimate reasons, like mine.

Source is the most optimized of nearly any engine. Running Source games is no indication of your computer's power, they're fantastic on almost anything.
Fracture.
Oh god it sucked.
Timesplitters 2, the missions are gay and hard.
Future Perfect was a masterpiece, though.
Edit:
GTA4.
My regret of the year.
So i sold it
What's that avatar from? It looks really familiar.

Well, would it make any difference if I say that I can run Oblivion on ultra high and 1680x945 res with approx. 40fps?
Timesplitters 2, the missions are gay and hard.
Timesplitters 1 and 2 were fucking awesome.
I like how nearly everyone said Spore... It's not that I don't agree, I do, but what surprises me is how many actually bought it
>Buy
>Games
What?
(even though they still were rather "meh" in regards to stealth gameplay compared to MGS)
If I had a dime for every guy who said MGS was a stealth game (when it's an action game) I'd make Bill Gates look like a beggar.
just cause for xbox 360 oh god it sucked
-Spore
-UT 2003
Gears of War (PC)
Spore
Blacksite (PC)
Unreal Tournament 3
Supreme Commander
Soldier of Fortune Payback
Stalker
Red Alert 3
Farcry 2
Doom 3
Worms 3D
Sid Meier's SimGolf (What the flying fuck was i thinking. I must have been drunk)
All those were massive disappointments in their time.
I kinda expected Mass Effect (PC) to be another disappointment, but crap was i wrong. Mass Effect is awesome no matter what you play on.
So you didn't like supreme commander, yet you have that aeon chick in your avatar?
Dark Messiah, I probably wouldn't regret is as much if I had a better machine to run it with.
Quite alot of PC Games, they just don't work. They either crash alot or lag.
While I had fun with Garrysmod, at the moment it is pure shit. It chrashes very oftan and I think it did some serious damage last time it crashed (Monitor turned off, PC stopped making noise and restart button did nothing. When I turned it back on windows pops up telling me how it's recovered from a serious error.)
Halo (got bored after the first play through and the community is too shit to play it online)
F.E.A.R. (could have just pirated it since the multiplayer is free now, and was free a week after I bought it)
Battlefield 2 (I love playing it, but it doesn't work with my computer for a completely unknown reason. Don't try to help me, I tried for a month to fix it.)

lag =/= shitty fps.
Stop buying new games and expecting them to work on a shitty computer.
Battlefield fucking 2. (probably the most mentioned in the thread)
There aren't really any other games that I specifically regret buying; I just regret buying more games when I barely play the ones I have.
Spore
Mercenaries 2
BioShock. I played it once and never again.
battlefield 2142
