I thought Fate of the World was going to be awesome, it was a stupid card game that was very confusing.

I think it might have been halfway decent if the dialogue wasn't in French (I think it's French) and the subtitles weren't microscopic.
Every time this thread pops up on the front page, I automatically think "Spore". I got so hyped for that game. It was the first game I ever allowed myself to get hyped for. I was 15 at the time and it was the first game I ever preordered. Playing through it, the first stage was awesome, and it made me think that the rest of the game would be equally awesome.
When I realized I couldn't drag bodies (like it showed in the E3 demo) and all that other stuff, it dawned on me that Spore was incredibly shit.

Good god that game had so much potential but everything fell through. Story was almost non-existant, gun selection was weak, and the online? Jeez... Let's just let them do the story missions... that they can already play online in, in the story? GENIUS! Make it, print it, sell it.
