I've seen a lot of people wishing they hadn't bought Farcry 2. I'm enjoying it, the only bad part about it so far is all the driving you have to do.
Fallout 3.
Spore
Crysis
Perfect Dark Zero
Race driver: GRID, One of the worst games I've ever played, horrible controls, Bad graphics, Catastrophically dull and boring and it cost me £30
The old playstation game called Driver 2. I still regret buying that. I could have been $15.00 richer if I haven't D:<
Too Human - Fuck that is a terrible game, luckily I was able to take it back and swap it for something else. I can't remember what I traded it for though.
Call of Duty: World at War - Don't take that the wrong way, I'm sure it's an excellent game, I just can't run it. Systemrequirementslab lied to me.
Turning Point: Fall of Liberty - same reason as CoD:WaW
I bet all the people who regret buying Spore are the ones who believed all the hype about it. I knew it wasn't going to be as good as people thought, but I was still expecting a decent game, which I got.
Unreal Tournament 3
You know a game sucks when it's more fun to play against bots than other human beings.
Mercenaries 2 PC God what a waste of 50 bucks on a Securom loaded game. I liked the first one better.
Left 4 Dead. Only because I wish that I had gotten it for PC instead of for the 360.
Superman 64
:(

Garrys Mod
Counter Strike: Source
Ok Counter Strike: Source I can understand but the Orange Box? Garry's Mod? I just don't see how you can regret buying Garry's Mod for $10.

Yeah as far as I'm concerned gmod is worth it simply for the joy of flinging ragdolls at walls, and I've done some crazy fun stuff in it. My favourite moments were probably taking it in turns to hunt down friends with hovering death machines, or the fight to the death in flying pirate ships.
Let's see:
Wellp, that's about it.
The list could go on forever, but I'll do the five most regretted games.
1: Turok (2008) - I bought this game hoping it would be as great as the N64 series. It wasn't.
2: Test Drive Unlimited - Worst racing game I have ever played. Ever.
3: Red Steel - Got boring after the first few minutes of play.
4: Doom 3 - Not a terrible game, just not as good as the originals.
5: Lost Planet - Expected way to much out of it. Got really boring after a short while.
EDIT: Also, the Wii.
I seriously fucking hate that thing with a passion, $250 of wasted money.
Doom 3 failed so hard. "Hey guys check out our bad-ass new engine! It looks fucking sweet when the lights are on! PS the lights are and never will be on, the idea of the game is to fumble around in the dark for 2 hours until you find a zombie or something."
BREED, though it was only like $20 or something enjoy your 99.9% chance to CTD on game load.
Far Cry 2. "You're working for us secretly so remember our guys will shoot too." Talk about being lazy and using a shitty storyline to cover your ass.
Battlefield 2142. I spent more time playing the demo than I did the full game... Why did I decide to give EA another chance I'll have no idea...

"S.T.A.L.K.E.R - One of the biggest disappointments I've had with games, if you followed S.T.A.L.K.E.R's development, it was going to be this super awesome game, but the current S.T.A.L.K.E.R is barebones and runs like shit on my PC."
what the hell? S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is one of the absolute best games ever made, if S.T.A.L.K.E.R. really runs that badly on your PC, then get a new graphics-card.
It's atmospheric, fairly realistic, has a lot of scenic environments, good storyline, and Clear Sky (the official prequel) is even better.
PS: "fairly realistic", meaning except the anomalies and mutants :P
I haven't hated any game I have bought.
I always look what I'm gonna buy, if it's a game.
24 the game for the PS2.
Blood siren.
Hello kitty.
Mario Sunshine.
Cooking mama.
Spiderman 1, 2 and 3.
Star wars.
GTA 1 & 2 & IV
GTA4

Forza motorsport 2
PGR3
Forza 2? FORZA FUCKING TWO?
Pgr yes, BUT FORZA TWO?
It's still the best racing nerd game on 360. The cars are so customisable, tunable and paintable. (able)
And it was practically a launch game.
Conflict: Vietnam
It's not THAT bad, I just can't take it.
Oblivion
Command and Conquer on PS1/3/P (I didn't know you used passwords and not memory cards to save progress)
Driv3r. Started off good, but then you play the story.. Or go shooting. Or walking
There are probaly others but I can't think of any.
Why Oblivion?
tomb raider: underworld
Kane and Lynch
Well, atleast it was only $15.
Spore
STALKER - It was probably a good game.. if you could figure out what the hell to do. I walked around forever and did these jobs but never got enough loot to buy armor to keep me alive long enough to do other jobs.
I can imagine someone who doesn't know what to do in Stalker?
