I tend not to play games with shitty hit detection.
Why Oblivion?
I could never get into it. I couldn't understand what I should be doing next, and I never had a horse. It was basically me running about for miles back to Imperial city since it was the only place I knew, while constantly using the heal spell to keep myself alive.

What the fuck is some of these people's problems. There is a fucking objectives tab that shows you what you had to do and where you had to go do it from the get-go.
I don't know why you all disliked Battlefield 2. I thought it was pretty good.
Shitty guns, AWFUL hit detection, fucking annoying players, generally shitty gameplay.
Worst £20 I've ever spent, I played the demo more than I played the full game.
I was thinking of buying 2142 but then I decided not to, because the same will happen again. The full game will be shit, and the demo will be better.

Point of Existence 2 = the game BF2 should have been.
Project Reality = just awesome.
Fracture
Fallout 3
Prince of Persia
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
All four of these games were supposed to be great, but they were awful.
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (PC) - The "tactical" gameplay is ruined by the awful AI your allies have. They frequently run into enemy fire, it seems like luck if they'll fire back at enemies and you have to guide them everywhere like they're five year olds on the first day of school. The only way to beat a level within a year is to go alone, but the game makes this really difficult. The shitty checkpoint system doesn't help either.
Stalker Clear Sky: The "Faction" system is completely worthless; I managed to get through most of the game (until I quit right before Limansk) as a member of the Stalker faction. It feels like the devs were trying to make a CoD-style game in the Stalker universe, only without any of the fun.
Quake 4: The gameplay was repetitive and linear, there were no physics exploits to fuck around with in single player, the cutscenes sucked, the vehicle sections were too long and had shitty gameplay mechanics, and you weren't able to use most of the good weapons (like the Rocket Launcher) until the last third of the game. When I play a Quake game, I expect to be flying around with a Rocket Launcher, gibbing everything that moves, not running around with a scripted squad of soldiers and being in vehicles.
Gun
Perfect Dark Zero
Can't think of anymore right now.

FarCry2
Wii and everything with it. Wii is a waste of money.
Gamecube and all the games for it.
The Wii kills all other consoles (in sales) the only wii game I regret buying was super paper mario because it was glitchy and boring
The Orange Box [360] (should have got it for PC)
City of Heroes/Villains
Oblivion to be honest also, the 360 I got, but then it got RROD, some reason MicroSoft couldn't fix it (I had a damn warranty!!!), so I sold it.
Dammit, MicroSoft you suck!
Spore.
Assasins creed was boring and really repeatative

Sales =/= quality, look at Halo 3.
GTA 4 for PC.
I bought it in anticipation of it being a great game but I underestimated the power my computer has. I think, however, if I buy a better computer I will enjoy it. So this is more my fault than the game's fault even though it does have quite a few flaws.
Fallout 3 (360) The Orange Box, Mirrors Edge it's a good game but so frustrating on some missions, Spore.

No, actually the Wii is a perfect example of your (true) statment.
I mean really the Wii sold fucktons but not even a fourth of the people turn on their wiis monthly in comparison to how many bought it.
Man, I thought I one of the few who turn on there Wii every other month for about an hour.
Clive Barker's Jericho. My god but that was a terrible game. Damn quicktime events.

I don't understand why people think Fallout 3 is awful. I've put many hours into it and it's fucking brilliant (granted probably "less brilliant" if you played the older fallouts I imagine), and it just get's better and better. More and more dynamic stuff keeps happening to me, I make my own story in the wasteland... how is that not fun? Do you guys only like to play cinematic games that hold your hands throughout the game and have some cheap multiplayer thrown in instead of a game that offers you an experience you can create for yourself?
FarCry 2 is definitely my most regrettable purchase of late. Total waste of money, it's like they finished the graphics and just shipped it without adding any more content than their "test" sequences.
I also regret The Force Unleashed, because all it had was DMM, and even then it only had it in a limited amount of places and very restricted.
Spore is also a disappointment but I probably wouldn't return it if I could.
Games I definitely don't regret buying:
Mount and Blade
Fallout 3
Soul Calibur 4 (not for everyone, though, you need to like fighting games)
Midnight Club: L.A
Gears of war 2 and battlefield bad company, also call of duty world at war.
Rampage for the Wii.
I was expecting the same treasure trove of amusement I acquired from the N64 rampage, but was horribly disgusted by the unresponsive controls, and an impossible learning curve.
Three words.
Mario is Missing.
Left 4 Dead (PC)
Not that it's a bad game, but the fucking framerate drops after playing a while, its fucking annoying.

Socom US navy seals.

Geist. That game was shit.
Sam and max... I mean what the fuck?
I failed at the first mission :(
