Although that has more to do with what I think of when I think of TOOW (which is the NGE) and less to do with the expansions gameplay it self. I've never actually bought a game that I later felt was a waste, every game has always done something for me. I wait a good long time before I jump into the new "the game" hype. Hell, I just played Bioshock for the first time (Myself, having tried it a little at a friends house when it first came out) last month, not really a waste as It did what I wanted. Wish it was longer though, and had more art direction, I mean, most of the places looked the same, just with different themes for the "Shops". But the overall world was pretty much the same, though seeing how it's all underwater I guess I shouldn't expect too much. Was also disappointed that big daddy's weren't as awesome as the trailers made them out to be. After the first one they were pretty easy to take care of, thus losing any sense of vulnerability. The last game I bought within a week or less of release was Fallout 3. Which was worth it as I'm still playing it thanks to mods.

Honestly, Half Life 1 Anthology pack :/ It's a solid game, but I've played Opposing Force and half of Blue Shift, while on Half Life, I'm still stuck against the first goddamn gargant, it has me cornered with 42 health, no armour and I can't escape :@
