Spore Bioshock Dark Messiah Call of Duty: World At War ArmA Red Steel Far Cry Vengeance
Fallout 2 (It was $6, but bugs seem to break the game and prevent me from beating it properly.) Bioshock (Made me rage uncontrollably.)
Recent: GTA4; Niko is a cool character but that's about all the game has going for it in my opinion. Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy; I bought it because I had the money to even though I have two copies it for the PS2 already. At least there's the achievements to get... Long Time Ago: Oblivion GOTYE; I bought it because the Xbox ate my first copy but at this point I was already getting bored with the game and Shivering Isles wasn't really fun. Edit:
I don't buy games. See if you can figure out why. But the games I do buy, I'd probably regret buying Spore Creepy+Cute. But not spore. It was a decent game.
Because you pirate them?
Far Cry 2 - Singleplayer is repetitive and monotonous; MP has been done 10000 times before. GRID - I got this as a gift, but I'm not much of a racing fan. And Spore.
Nothing. I research the hell out of games before I lay down the money. If i'm not sure, I just rent them.
The Italian Job for PS2.... damn that was horrible. Also, Wreckless: Yakuza Missions for PS2, it was an awesome game on xbox, but somehow it was absolute shit on PS2. I don't think I regret any PC games I've bought though...
Far Cry 2: For me it was fun at first, until i realized how repetitive the gameplay was. Spore: Again i thought it was pretty fun at first but the space stage got repetitive and boring fairly quickly.
It was a good game.
That is your opinion and this is mine but I think you have a rather bad taste in games. I can understand genre preferences but Double Agent made many rather bad design mistakes, was horribly ported, was a cash-cow game, etc. It simply was not as good (or polished, both in presentation, gameplay, and stability) as the similar-genre games you mentioned that you regretted buying, and it wasn't as good as the previous Splinter Cell's before it (even though they still were rather "meh" in regards to stealth gameplay compared to MGS). Again opinion. What redeeming qualities do you see in Double Agent that make it better or just as good as the "competition" or previous games in the series when taking everything the game offers into account?
Fallout 3. I bought it because it looked fun at the time with an okay storyline and they say it wasn't just "Oblivion with guns". I don't care what anyone says, it is just Oblivion with guns. (I didn't like Oblivion at all)
Garry's Mod Would've rather eaten $10 than purchased this piece of crap.
Spore, and Far Cry 2. Spore was dumbed down to nothing, and Far Cry 2 is yawn in a box.
I would have to go through my old games, but off the top of my head I would say Battle Stations Midway and Spore are my worst purchases.
Soldner: Secret Wars - Buggy piece of shit that I eventually traded for Joint Operations Resident Evil 4 - Wow, really shitty controls Ghost Recon 2 for the PS2 - This was the demented brother of the superior Xbox version. No save or checkpoints, dumb AI and unbalanced difficulty, among other things
Animal Crossing City Life Maybe I haven't given it enough time, but even if I did I think I still would've preferred the newest harvest moon.
Far cry 2 Brothers in arms: Hells highway Edit: Company of heroes too
Well, to be honest, I only buy games that I KNOW are going to be good. I rent everything else, as far as games I wish I never rented goes, I wish I never would've rented Hour of Victory. I heard it was the worse game ever made for 360, and I said, IT SURELY CAN NOT BE THAT BAD. I am forever scarred for life.

Double Agent was just another line in the Splinter Cell series with a little twist. I didn't see any big flaws, but it wasn't an amazing game. I thought the multiplayer was good, made it more streamlined and basic, and really brought in the roles of the two teams.
Call of Duty World at War. I was bored in 5 minutes.
Far Cry 2 Warhammer 40,000k: Dawn of War
Call of Duty World at War. I was bored in 5 minutes.
BEGONE YE HERETIC
Spore
Hellgate: London
If only more people played it :sigh: (it got its main servers closed)
Blacksite - Most boring game I've played.
Resistance ~ Story didn't grip. Medal of Honor: Airborne ~ Fun but far too fucking short for £25! Age of Empires 3~ Didn't play anything like AoE 1 or 2 Dead Rising ~ Actually love this game but thought I'd throw one in to annoy Frank_West Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway ~ Loved BiA and BiA Earned in Blood. Thought they'd add the cool co-op multiplayer in to justify the £25 purchase. They didn't. Lasting value of the game went down the toilet after finishing SP. Vietcong 2 ~ Bought for LAN co-op and it moaned about duplicate CD Keys. on a LAN. disconnected from the internet.
Far Cry 2 Warhammer 40,000k: Dawn of War BEGONE YE HERETIC
says the man who regrets DOW
Solitaire
Dead Rising ~ Actually love this game but thought I'd throw one in to annoy Frank_West
Fuuuuck!
Garry's Mod Would've rather eaten $10 than purchased this piece of crap.
No offense but it is kinda ironic that your posting on a website owned by the person that made that game. Have to say the worst thing bought on my part was Shattered Suns
FaR CRY 2
If only more people played it :sigh: (it got its main servers closed)
The reason nobody played/ plays it was because it sucked.
Empire Earth 3. 2 was pushing it.
