Battlefield 1943. How did they manage to pack SO MUCH FUCKING RAGE into a small downloadable game?
What was so terrible about it? I was thinking about getting it for a while. I was also thinking about BC 2. Was BC 1 good?
What was so terrible about it? I was thinking about getting it for a while. I was also thinking about BC 2. Was BC 1 good?
Ah theres only 4 maps in it though. It doesn't seem any different round after round.
DOD:source and sort of Assassins Creed

Farcry 2. I bought it on steams massive holiday discount . ----- First let me say from the very beginning to the very end of this game everyone wants you dead. Save for 2 small areas which are at "ceasefire", you are constantly being hunted. Well, sounds interesting right? Well, there are hundreds of little camps out there, that you usually find yourself venturing through. But the moment they lay eyes on you, "THERE HE IS SHOOT HIM!" They run you out of the village, and you still have to drive 25KM or so to the next mission. Thats another rant. You are forced to drive across the map, or at least very, very far to get to each mission. A large amount of my playtime was driving from point A to point B with little motivation. To make things worse there was always some patrol who would go out of their way to chase me down and kill me. But to be honest, its not that hard to kill these guys. After about 10 or so ambushes you can more-less get the feel for combat. But its not the difficulty which bugs me, its the fact that this happens way too many times when I try my hardest to avoid the enemy and get there in a timely manner. I dont know even why im writing this, all its doing is just making me angry. Also, you have malaria. Its a cool game mechanic to have to monitor your symptoms with pills, but every hour or so your disease flares up and you have to use your valuable pills. When you run out of pills, you have to talk to the priest which will cast you away at worst 30KM or so get some more pills. It all gets very tiring, I was trying to find a "no-malaria" nod. And , the motivation factor. Everything your generals want you to do is almost worthless. You kill this guy, that guy, blow up this, shoot that. The feeling of progress is nonexistent. Even your buddies seem completely expendable because they are pretty one dimensional. You constantly ask yourself "Well how will this get me any closer to killing the Jackal?" And the Story, which was the sole reason why I wrote this rant. Story Breaking Spoilers: [sp] Your friends die at the end of Act I, but some of them mysteriously appear here and there. All the progress is gone, and there is no closure which tells you what happened to them, as they all appear "dead". The game drops that chapter and moves on, expecting you to rebuild friendships with total strangers .Then in Act III you have to slaughter all your friends for nothing more than getting your own arse out of Africa with the Jackal. Then you end up dying. And so does the Jackal, and so are all your friends. Fin [/sp]
Battlefield 2142. Should have got BF2 Complete Collection instead. :argh:
It's a great game but it does have some really stupid glitching when fighting on a Titan. Other than that though that game is ace.
Halo 2 For PC, When i had vista it kept crashing every 5-10 minutes or sometimes even every 30 seconds, now that i have windows 7 i cant even run it :(, I Wish i Hadn't wasted $50 on it
fear 2 it wasnt as scary or cool as the first and its expansion packs
Torchlight :frown: Oh, and Bioshock. I really don't get why it's so amazing.
Prototype.... [editline]01:37PM[/editline] I traded it in and got £5...
The Sims 3. I still can't figure out exactly why I bought that...
Almost any videogame based on a movie.
...blacksite
Dragon Age: Origins
The Matrix Online. But that was because i didn't know it had monthly fees. Other then that, no game i've ever bought has been a regretful purchase.
Every Wii game other than No More Heroes and Super Smash Brothers Brawl
I don't actually regret buying Spore. Considering my first playthrough was great... until space stage.
I had fun on the first play through as well but then once I got space stage and played it for a week it lost my interest. Playability went down the shitter.
Spore, Left 4 Dead
Half life 2 Just kidding.
Spore (definitely) Dragon Age: Origins (so far I think it sucks) Sims 3
Sim City 4 I know there is still a community following this game buy honestly in my view its the worst of the series. Heroes of Might and Magic 5 I can see why people like this game, I however dont.
Saints Row 2. Because the PC port made me really sad.
Saints Row 2. Because the PC port made me really sad.
THIS ^ I went out an got it for xbox just because during the small amount of time it was running over 2 frames per second, it was actually kinda fun. But then I played it so much I got a goddamn red ring of death, so I guess I can regret buying it .
I don't buy bad games. :smug:
Resident Evil 5 and Borderlands
Red Faction: Guerilla
world of warcraft
Hour of victory, worst fail ever.
Counterstrike
I'm going crazy here. Half of these games are my favorite games ever. I love Spore, fallout on pc and 360. COD:WOW is my worst gamer ever. I sold it within a month, irritatingly I heard they're making a COD:WOW2
