[editline]3rd April 2011[/editline]
Also halo reach. Played the campaign (didn't finish) and didn't touch the multiplayer until today. Wasn't missing out on much.
Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising.
Not only is Arma 2 way better, the day after i bought OF:DR it went on sale for $5........huge facepalm
Dead Rising 2...
Slow motion walking, dying and going back to your last save, only two types of missions.
Black Ops even though i've already sold it.
Battlefield 2 on steam.
NOT THAT ITS A BAD GAME. But the mixture of using vista and the already broken punkbuster means theres no way I can actually get into a game.
Borderlands
Bioshock

You can say that about every FPS ever.
Spore was going to be so good, but it turned into shit.
And any game based on a movie. There are very few (if any) that are horrible.
Fable 3.
I was one of those weird guys that LOVED Fable 2, but 3 just didnt do it for me.
MW2
I liked MW1 on PS3 and decided "heh, why not?"
that and AVP3
Mount & Blade: Warband
I already owned the original mount & blade but I wanted to try out the multiplayer in warband. But It was disappointing. All the servers are full of people who spam the swing weapon button without penalty and the only way to counter it is to do the same thing which is just boring. Also, horse riding is pointless because people can easily jump higher than your horse and hit you in the head with their weapon so easily. Fucking shit multplayer.
Well its not that i wish i didnt buy them i just wish i waited to buy them
L4d2
GTA4
if l4d2 was really better then L4d then i would have loved it but it disapointed me how much i didnt like it D:
-All three Stalker games
-Arma 2
-Left 4 Dead 2
-Cities XL
-Champions Online
I know I'll get flak for the first two, but I just can't get into them. L4D2 was fun for a couple weeks, but after awhile, the gameplay just felt clunky and not fun. Cities XL was a steaming pile because they tried to make it an MMO, and Champions Online is just a steaming pile that is an MMO.
Homefront and metro 2033
GRAW2, Simpsons game and about 80% of my xbox live arcade games! But nothing for PC! All games i bought for PC are awesome!
red faction guerulla
[editline]3rd April 2011[/editline]
it was fine till they started building buildings specifically to prevent you from ever destroying them. then it got incredibly bland.
Stalker games, tried both Shadow of Chernobyl and Call of Pripyat. Sold both to a friend the next day.
And ofcourse the Sims 2. I was 11 back then.

Arma 2 & Operation Arrowhead -
Now hear me out on this one, it's not that the game is crap.. it's the fact it has a learning curve I don't have the time to get into.. I had a bit of a play around and enjoyed it the tutorial but the difficulty frustrated me simply because I had very limited time to play..
So the reason I regret buying it is because I spent $120 dollars on the game and the expansion and I haven't even got the game installed, let alone enough time to play it.
I understand completely. ARMA 2 is fun every now and then when you want to screw around, but really getting into it (Such as making complete Custom Campaigns, ect.) is very complicated and time consuming, let alone majority of the Scripting/Mission Creating Tutorials aren't Noob Friendly in the least.
Don't get me wrong here, I still find enjoyment in the Game, it's just that I cant use the Games full potential due the the steep learning curve.
Saint's Row 2. I wouldn't mind if I bought it for $10 or something on a Steam sale, but I got it when it first came out for $60. I wasn't able to run it at all when I first got it. I can run it on high now, but it still looks like shit. It plays like shit. Multiplayer is the only remotely fun thing included, but that's not even worth installing the 12 GB for. The customization is a little overrated, as well.

I seem to be in a very reversed sector. I liked Far Cry 2 a lot, Prototype was pretty fun although I wouldn't pay more than $40 for it (Unfortunately I did), S.T.A.L.K.E.R. was alright but I got too bored of it to play into what was supposedly the 'good parts' so maybe I am thinking less of it than it is. Driv3r was buggy as all fuck, but I enjoyed it. I still play Black Ops occasionally. I don't hate MW2, but it's not the greatest game I've ever played. Medal of Honor 2010 was interesting. I was pleased how you didn't have to kill everybody in a mission or two. Kane & Lynch 2 I bought for $5 which may make my opinion void, but I really enjoyed the singleplayer and multiplayer. I kept in mind that IO Games intentionally made it stupid, silly and vulgar; which they did. Hence naked mission. I think Day of Defeat Source is immensely overrated, however I remember having hours of fun in the original. I don't like RE4 or RE5. Not because they're bad games, but because they have no zombies in them. Also Chris' muscles in RE5. I loved Bad Company 2 on the Xbox but I hated it on the PC, and regret purchasing it there. That may be just spite from it disabling my Steam account for 2 weeks, but I am terrible at it on PC and excellent on the Xbox. The PS2 version of Battlefield 2 has my favorite multiplayer of all Battlefield games. You read that correctly. I hated Bioshock 2 at first because of the big daddy suit, but it's about as good as the original. Very different, though.
Opinion dump.
Crysis 2
Its not Crysis anymore.. where is the destruction and complete freedom like in Crysis and Crysis Warhead.
