Spore. Not worth the amount I payed for it, got boring way to soon.
Why do people hate spore? I liked it
Because it was hyped as "SimUniverse" and turned out to be a bunch of stupid minigames with a decent character creator.
Bioshock - I fucking loved the story, but the gameplay was not my taste. I know it could be innovative, but my foggy memory was of spliced humans surviving multiple bullets to the head. I could've been stupid and had it on some insane difficulty.
Black and White 2 - Once again, loved the concept, but the gameplay melted into a "Offensively, your fucked, so just build cities" for me.
Universe At War - I never got very deep into it, and I can't remember why. I don't remember anything being particularly bad about it.
World in Conflict - "Hey guys, lets make a modern RTS. Instead of being innovative with the units though, let's have all sides have the same exact stats with different models. Sounds good."
Team Fortress 2 - There, in the blink of an eye, went literally over a month of my life. You could sit down and play Team Fortress 2 for two months straight, and you still wouldn't have sunk as many hours into it as I did. It was like my personal WoW/crack.

If there was ever a perfect example of "completely missing the point", then this would be it.
That's why you don't taunt yourself from all the videos, NO game has ever lived up to it's hype.
Spore was a sandbox and it's nice to what you're limits would be
In a year time this thread will be remade and Duke Nukem will probably be on it. People expect too much from games
Minecraft... I wasn't a big fan and expected more out of the multiplayer.
Legendary
Awful graphics, Stupid AI, Sound was shit and the story is god awful.
Hurr derr Mythology animals come and kills stuff.
Ugh, I still can't understand how the guys who made that game can come up with such great settings for games and then absolutely fuck it up.
Anyway, my choice is CoD:BlOps. Here was me thinking to myself when I installed it 'Oh forget everyone else, I enjoyed MW2's MP, sure the killstreaks and some of the community were douchey but I still had fun, and Treyarch's World At War was pretty swell too if a little familiar'. So yeah, I went in pretty optimistic. About an hour later playing the game I wanted to tear my hair out, honestly I have not played such a poorly optimised piece of shit, but I held onto the hope that there was the MP still to come; there's no akimbo shotgun/SMG/Machine-pistol douchefaggotry and - from what I heard at the time - the killstreaks were supposedly much fairer.
It was not to be. Another half hour in and I quit and uninstalled, haven't played it since. I don't think there is anything Treyarch or Activision can do in this lifetime that could possibly make me think that CoD as a series is still as loveable and fun as it was back in the days of MW1.
Spore, COD4 modern warfare.
COD4 modern warfare.
I don't want to go around and talk about how stupid everyone is for disagreeing with me (they aren't, we all have our opinions), but I have to say, how could you regret buying one of the greatest games of all time? Did you only play the singleplayer? Do you get it on console? Seriously, CoD4 was an amazing game for it's time.
COD4 modern warfare was pretty good, though I regret buying Modern Warfare 2 on the 360 (though, I regret buying it at all).
OFP:DR - Didn't do my research ><
Black Ops - Overhyped, almost the same as MW2
Splinter Cell Conviction - Broken game (its been a year and their website STILL doesnt work)
Amnesia
Eragon..
Joint Task Force
Boring, Graphics are terrible, animations are really bad, voice acting is horrible and AI is either extremely hard or extremely stupid.
Black Ops - Meh. This is the best selling game of all time? Kill us all now.
Halo 3 - Bought it with a friend at midnight launch just from hype. I sold it two days later.
Homefront PC - Bought it for $25 on ebay and after playing it for 4 hours, I felt bad about wasting $25 on it.
Age Of Conan
Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising
Burnout Paradise: The Ultimute Box on PC (seriously it always crashes for me)
Every Call of Duty game
Monday Night Combat
WoW

So much failed potential in that game. Great game engine and assets but they tried to make the game to "accesible" or "streamlined" and it just wound up being boring and small scale, and totally lacking in the elements that make ArmA a great sandbox game.
Deus Ex.
No no wait, hear me out. It's not because of the game itself. It's merely because I am the SHITTIEST stealth game player of ALL FUCKING TIME.

I remember playing a tiny bit of it on the PS3 around a mates house. The allied AI was stupid, it never healed me when I was hurt, instead it prioritized the other allies.
Plus I shot down a helicopter with a M4/M16 (or whatever the game had exactly) :v:
I didn't enjoy HOMEFRONT as much as I had hoped.
3D Sexvilla
Crysis 2: I loved it, but I only bought it because I thought Portal 2 came out later than April.
Red Dead Redemption... I sold for 13 bucks after about 6 months... In retrospect, I paid too much for it initially (Roughly 55 or so used...) Fuck Gamestop...

I am also stealth inept, and I feel the same.
