Call of Duty: Black Ops. Now, I know most of you are going to agree with me just because of bandwagoning or something, but I want to explain myself. I was an avid player of MW2, I had like 200 or so hours in it. Then I bought Black Ops and marvelled at how much more balanced it was. But over time, my love became hatred, as I slowly realized that Black Ops fixed most of MW2's problems by downright removing them. Overpowered killstreaks? Replace all the killstreaks with useless garbage! Overpowered shotgun? Make every shotgun in the game useless! People dual wielding short ranged automatic pistols? Make the only automatic pistol in the game take 6 hits to kill and make it fire slower than a semi-auto pistol! It eventually just came down to the fact that everything was neutered. All of the environments in the maps were boring and grey, the guns felt all the same, and there just wasn't nearly as much entertainment in it. In MW2, sure there were some bad things, but the guns felt, looked, and sounded beefy, the maps were fresh, and you could do a lot more. Things like putting an ACOG on the .50 cal and turning it into a battle rifle were fun, and I would much rather take dual G18s or riot shields over bland guns with bland sounds. :v:
Totally agree with you bro. I think they basically made a carbon copy of mw2, but added a few new things at the cost of removing most of the realistic features of Mw2, shipped it all across the world slapped a sticker on it saying (New) and sold millions
Borderlands + DLC. (Eh, at least I got into the DN:F First access club)
Borderlands + DLC. (Eh, at least I got into the DN:F First access club)
why? Just why?
Homefront, Neverwinter Nights 2, Hearts of Iron III, Darkest Hour, Theatre of War 2.
GTA IV for PC. Ran at annoyingly low frame rates, and didn't allow me to play MP simply because my FPS was low. Months later, in March, it refused to launch altogether. I tried using All Points Bulletin to fill the hole, but it ended up even worse with lower framerates and laggy servers, which I described in detail a few pages back. Any stories like this?
Get a better PC.
I have a gaming PC and it lagged like no return, getting 5fps on freaking low , GTA IV was a TERRIBLE console port.
Terraria.
Terraria.
oh no you's gonna git bunned.
NFS Carbon to Undercover These 3 are the worst NFS games I've ever played and I regret spending my money on these trash. [editline]7th June 2011[/editline] Along with MW2. I didn't expect it to be short and a splitscreen save that corrupts every damn time.
The frozenbyte pack was worth it for Trine
Oh yeah, forgot about Trine. That is an awesome game.
My sister bought me Brink. Even she hated it. Also, she gifted me a few years ago Spore. It worked nice, but at the final stage everything fucked up and gave my PC a BSOD.
Darkspore. Preordered it, played the first three missions and haven't touched it since.
Spore
Doc Clock: The Toasted Sandwich of Time. Came with a Humble Bundle, but is pretty poor.
Doc Clock: The Toasted Sandwich of Time. Came with a Humble Bundle, but is pretty poor.
Which humble bundle? I've bought all three... but I don't remember getting it.
Saint's Row, Serious Sam II, Men of War, Overlord I Saint's Row because it runs horribly (I can run GTA IV pretty well), the other 3 because they're boring...
Which humble bundle? I've bought all three... but I don't remember getting it.
Huh, maybe I'm wrong.. I can't remember, then. Looking at my list of Steam transactions, I certainly didn't but it individually.
I have a gaming PC and it lagged like no return, getting 5fps on freaking low , GTA IV was a TERRIBLE console port.
I have a really shitty rig and it runs pretty fine on medium.(30+ frames) Not so sure you have a "gaming rig".
I have a really shitty rig and it runs pretty fine on medium.(30+ frames) Not so sure you have a "gaming rig".
I believe the case of terrible FPS was a major bug that many had trouble in when GTA IV came to the PC. Not sure if it was fixed later or not since I don't give a damn about the game, but safe to say, even the best computers got a terrible framerate for some unknown reason.
Which humble bundle? I've bought all three... but I don't remember getting it.
It came with Humble Bundle 2, I have it on my list.
It came with Humble Bundle 2, I have it on my list.
wait the humble indie bundle 2? wow I have to check this out I don't have it [editline]7th June 2011[/editline] nope just checked my DL page, no sandwiches
It came with one of those $5 indie bundles during that massive sale near Christmas. I remember because I picked up a lot of games for like $50 and my sister was pretty pissed off until I told her I bought her birthday present before the sale started, else I would have had no money to get her one.
Half-Life: Blue Shift. Opposing Force was a great expansion, but Blue Shift was outright despicable. Kill mutant, turn valve, kill mutant, go from A to B, turn valve...It just didn't have the originality of Half-Life or the massive shoot-em up feel of Opposing Force where you go blasting massive aliens with a machine gun. Blue Shift is just....meh. Not worth the small change.
I really do regret buying Minecraft at this point in time.
I really do regret buying Minecraft at this point in time.
isn't it getting tons of updates recently and you could sell it any time because it's still popular?
Borderlands, Minecraft, Terraria, Killing Floor and both left 4 dead games. and these because they won't work.
Microsoft Flight Simulator X I don't even know why I got it in the first place. At least I have some kind of training in landing a commercial airliner though (never know when that can be useful).
yep because next time your pilot dies you can jump up in the air, shout "I PLAYED FSX", set the altimeter to 34,000ft and press the autopilot master switch [editline]7th June 2011[/editline] and then divebomb into the ocean and suddenly reappear 2,000ft above it
Lead and Gold: Seems like a good game, no servers close to me though, end up playing with people halfway across the world Cities XL: It was $2.50 on Steam, $2.50 I want back. Men of War Assault Squad: Just a prettier version of the original with hero units and a terrible community to boot.
GTA IV EFLC (physical copy).
