Left 4 Dead 2 (for the 360)
Fallout: New Vegas (360) The Sims (PC) Quantum of Solace (360) Splinter Cell Double Agent (360) Prince of Persia (360) Mechassault (Xbox) Medal of Honor Rising Sun (Xbox)
Mechassault on the Xbox is awesome.
Legs and FOV. I regret buying L4D1 because Valve fucked us all over. We got some half-assed DLC before they brought out the sequel and abandoned the game, only releasing stuff they also made for L4D2. And now they're porting the old campaigns and characters, so there is literally no point in owning L4D1 anymore.
Remember when they said there'd be new weapons and other cool stuff after release for L4D1? :smith:
Splinter cell: conviction stupid Ubisoft and it's bitchines about co-op servers made it impossible for me to ever play co-op or ANYTHING! :argh:
Jenga for the DS, worst fucking game ever.
Blacklight: Tango Down Zeno Clash Terraria Prey Notice how they're all indie?
wait what? Also you're a douche.
What's with all the hate on Left 4 Dead?
Mount&Blade with Fire and Sword. Warband is so superior.
It died pretty fast, look: http://store.steampowered.com/stats/
Both games are in the thousands. Doesn't seem dead to me. I loved Left 4 Dead but I couldn't get in to Left 4 Dead 2
Gothic II seems like a good game but it's so fucking hard. After barely getting to the first town I CHEATED to level up like 5 itimes and still got one shot killed by an enemy in the town so I would have to say I regret it certainly. Although I think it may have been a gift but I'm not sure.
Its very hard at the beginning, I admit that, but it gets easier as you play. God what would i give to make it work on windows 7...
Duke Nukem Forever
It died pretty fast, look: http://store.steampowered.com/stats/
Well, I was mainly talking about the overall series.
Shitty console port full of prompts left over from the 360 version If they were nice enough to have GFWL on it I would not have made the mistake, thank god when I got it it was only a $5 dollar mistake.
Quake 4.
Team Fortress 2 Portal The Void The Path I just think all 4 of those games are incredibly overrated and boring to me.
I enjoy TF2 but I agree with the others. The portal games are just garbage
Shitty console port full of prompts left over from the 360 version If they were nice enough to have GFWL on it I would not have made the mistake, thank god when I got it it was only a $5 dollar mistake.
it's not a shitty port, the game itself is just a worthless piece of shit. console or no.
Shitty console port full of prompts left over from the 360 version If they were nice enough to have GFWL on it I would not have made the mistake, thank god when I got it it was only a $5 dollar mistake.
What did you expect from a movie game?
I enjoy TF2 but I agree with the others. The portal games are just garbage
Are we talking about the same Portal?
Aliens VS Predator (The new one) Single player was enjoyable but I found the multiplayer just horrible, which saddened me because the original's multiplayer was the only thing I ever played.
I don't really regret buying any games. Bad Company 2, maybe? It's not because it's bad, but it's because Steam refuses to play it. "This game is currently unavailable" I spent $20 on a game I can't even play.
bad company 2
i actually kind of agree with this. the mulitplayer got very boring for me fast because almost all of my friends had it for consoles. being the lone wolf type all the time is not really fun at all and most squads i join just seem like mobile spawn points with no actual teamwork involved(except on the rare occasion of joining a squad full of people who use mics). i am not trying to convey that the game is a waste of money, i'm just saying that maybe under different circumstances i would of enjoyed the game more.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (don't have Xbox Live anymore, so there was absolutely no point in getting it due to shortness of campaign) Fable 3 (terrible compared to Fable 2) Dragon Age 2 (it's not even in the same genre as Origins, although at least I did manage to play through it twice) Silent Hunter IV and V (barely any improvements over III, and V has a bad UI) Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (wasn't as fun as ACII, Brotherhood gimmick was just a gimmick, no more, too many MGS-style stealth missions) Armored Core 4 (an exercise in frustration since the whole game is less about mech customization and more about how spastically you can spam the trigger buttons - man I can't wait for a decent modern mech game with plenty of customization and actual opportunities to see your mech wreak havoc rather than shooting blobs at other mechs with ridiculous difficulty [Chromehounds I'm looking at you] [I would play the Crysis mod but Crysis refuses to install on my computer anymore]) Spore (only fun in brief stints for the editors - gameplay is really lacking) Darkspore (it feels like I'm playing a Starcraft II custom game that rips assets directly from Spore) C&C Generals (for some reason, upon installing to my new computer, my copy of the game is afflicted with the "anti-piracy" measure that makes all of your stuff blow up after a certain amount of time) Empire Earth, Rise of Nations, Rise of Legends (I don't know why I bought these, I'm not a fan of average RTS games) Star Fox: Assault (not worth the money, not even a little bit) Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock (all of my plastic instruments are broke once again...bah...at least I 5-starred Fury of the Storm) Fallout 3 (the game itself is great; the problem is that I got it for the Xbox 360) Baldur's Gate I and II (I can't bring myself to play through either of them for some reason - it's probably the atrocious and over-complicated ADnD combat) World of Warcraft: Cataclysm (leveling a goblin was fun...until Outland; the new linear leveling feels really uninspired, and I'm burned out from raiding in WotLK after finally bringing myself to get a character to max anyway [I've been playing since vanilla but never raided until ToC came out sadly, and now my subscription is deactivated] - also, when are they ever going to update the old character models?!) Cortex Command (not because the game is bad, but because I lost my code when I switched computers shortly after buying the game) Champions Online (was fun for a bit until I realized that PvP is disgustingly imbalanced; leveling got old when all of the enemies started being stronger than me individually) Stronghold 2 (wasn't as fun as the first game at all) The expansion to Black & White 2 (don't really like the new levels) Garry's Mod (not trying to troll - I'm terrible at construction) Tropico 2 (the graphics are somehow worse than those of the first game, and the pirate theme and lack of construction items doesn't really sell it) Oddworld: Munch's Odyssey (the first 2 Oddworld games were far better) Morrowind for the Xbox (don't ask what possessed me to buy it for both the PC and Xbox, although at least it allowed both me and a friend to play at the same time [we didn't get very far though - lack of a proper quest log and very slow run speed is killer]) Numerous other ignored and forgotten games, largely PS2, Xbox, and older PC games Perhaps off-topic, but - Games That I Was Pleasantly Surprised By Custom Robo [Gamecube game] Black and White 1 and 2 The Movies + expansion Stronghold Aliens vs Predator 2 [older PC game] Resident Evil 4 (not 5, though) Fable 2 Civilization: Call to Power (I really, REALLY want a mod for Civ V that adds the Call to Power stuff - CTP doesn't run on Windows 7 without crashing shortly after starting a game) Civilization IV (it feels weird to think that I got this game as a prize in 5th grade and still play it with friends to this day...I feel old already) Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (I recently cleared the game twice with no deaths and even found a few secrets that I've never found before in the 8+ years I've had the game, like the breakable ceiling in the Colosseum - I still need to play the game as Richter though) Tropico (I should really get the 3rd one) The Sims 2 [PC version] (no, really - as a side note, some of the radio music in that game is BOSS) As you can see, I, my parents, and my friends have bought far too many games on impulse over the years. I likely could've put the money I've spent on games into something way better...like a decent rig that can run games at max without heating up to 90+ degrees C [Champions Online killed my older video card...the fan dislodged from it after being at 95%+ speed for so long]. Also, a pro version of FL Studio so I can actually save files.
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (wasn't as fun as ACII, Brotherhood gimmick was just a gimmick, no more, too many MGS-style stealth missions)
I actually liked the stealth missions, as you're an assassin, not a super soldier. Also, I can't get it to play yet, but judging by the facepunch thread From Dust for PC was a horrible port.
From dust, the shitty drm and the lack of graphical options.
James Bond: From Russia With Love (Gamecube) Star Fox Adventures Sims 2 port to Gamecube Star Fox Assault Madden 04 for PC
Modern Warfare 2 Saints Row 2 for PC (Well actually it was gifted to me so I pity my friend)
left 4 dead 2 - because i played the shit out of l4d1 and 2 is just plain boring. team fortress 2 - because what it is now and last but definetaly not least world of fucking warcraft
