! IMPORTANT ! Tom is currently working his butt off to secure the site 120% so this won't ever happen again. He has learned the lesson at last. Besides, he's working on a new layout and a lot of bug fixes. The site will soon be as good as new. Cheers, Kosai106 Game Moderator on FPSBanana.com.

He gave me the same answer.
It's pretty sure it's ads or something... or maybe the OP is dumb /shrug... I don't know but you'd figure out of the thousands of hits it gets a day a lot more than one guy would be suspicious and the website wouldn't be visited as much as it is.
Ok, so I just checked my XP machine and there is two possible places I see it could be in. First try the local settings folder which has a temp folder in it. I think that this is where it is most likely to be located in. C:\users\usernamehere\local settings\temp If nothing is in the temp folder there is also another folder called application data in local settings you can check, so be sure to check it as well. C:\users\usernamehere\local settings\application data The second more unlikely spot is in the coincidentally named Application data folder in another location. C:\users\usernamehere\application data I do not think this is where it is though but might be worth it to check it anyways.
Can't see any of those folders. All I see is Autodesk.
These folders are hidden. Go to Tools > Folder options > Show hidden files and folders
That is rediculous unless it's using some kind of Java exploit you can't get a virus from a site without downloading and running an executable. I've had no anti-virus for eight years and I've never gotten a virus, is just that I'm not retarded? I dunno.
These folders are hidden. Go to Tools > Folder options > Show hidden files and folders
It's on. Still can't see it.

You probably have a virus right now but you wouldn't know.
Ah, so FPSbanana is finaly improving in a way.
The entire CS 1.6 section is gone. What happened?
So that's what the fuck was disabling my sound and making popups and alt+tabbing out of my games. fuck
You are retarded if you think that's the only way to catch a virus. You probably have a virus right now but you wouldn't know.
No, I'm not retarded. That is the only way you can catch a virus. Rate me dumb to hide the fact that you know nothing about how viruses work.

No harm was really done but I suggest you people don't go there since it will mess with your computer if you do.
Can you get a screenshot of the RWSOD?
Aww this again? Can anyone check if its still infected? If its still infected i guess i have to use that stupid mac of my roommate's. :'(
Is Avira Premium able to stop from the virus getting on a computer?
This site is clear as far as i know. Also guys it isn't a trojan it's something far worse Black internet virus = DLL Injector that abuses a backdoor in java. So uninstall java cause if you disable java, the virus turns it on
@Everyone: For crying out loud, the virus was removed weeks ago! It was only on the site for max 48 hours. The site is being repaired and secured more than ever. A new layout is being worked on and will be released soon. How do I know this? I'm a moderator on the site, so trust me when I say it. This thread can be locked now. -Kosai106.
Nice backseat moderating. “Telling FPSBanana to try and raid us. Besides, he apparently hates the forums yet can't stop coming back” Lol Kosai.
Earlier today I got some Anti-Virus Advertisement from there. Which kept spamming and spamming, and you couldn't keep it closed, or delete it with the task manager because every time you tried to it would say that the task manager has been detected with a virus and stuff. :3
Anti-virus is the new virus, haven't you heard? Seriously though I've lost all my faith in FPSBanana, let's hope those guys in the TF2 section finish their emporium site.
Don't go back there. Its still infected. The funny thing I never caught it but today my friend got in and its gone. He has Avast to thank!
