Spino will be an alternate Tank Class, so we'd be able to select between the T-Rex and the Spino when this goes live.
Also of note, the Spino was always intended to be an NPC that would attack either side, so this news is cool that he's becoming playable.

Well, apparently the Spino's model and anims and stuff were added in the recent Christmas patch!
Got to play on a server with the Spino activated, and damn it, it's cool as hell.
It's got better handling than the Rex, longer reach, and it has a Claw swipe attack for knocking humans away from it, like the Carno's charge.
Get in and try it out before they patch it out, as it is supposed to be released with the Get to the Chopper DLC! Which is [B]100% FREE, BTW.[/B]
Join the servers that say "PLAYABLE SPINOSAURUS" or "Spino Fiesta!"

Speaking of christmas update, get your asses in-game and play as the Commando, Pathfinder, Raptor, and Carno to use their special Christmas skins! Just choose the default skin if you have the Experimental Dino Skin pack.

The spino's model is really cool. I haven't seen any servers enabling it, though. Just checked it out on a private local server.
So, Dino D-Day meets Left 4 Dead.

Is it playable? It's already 50% off, but do those lags and stuff still exist?
They've fixed a lot with the latest patch, like some graphical issues on certain maps, camping spots unfair to Dinos blocked off, and they optimized the maps a bit better.
Bought it. And it's a pretty fun game, maybe a bit too fast gameplay.
I just wish it had AA.
This game is a hella lot fun for sure. Scrambling around with a large group of players is so intense and insane!
They reallly should make a extraction gametype where one player is the T-rex and everyone else is unarmed and has to make it to the end of the map

I believe the new dlc coming out is what you're thinking of.
Played the shite out of this game since beta and i still love it.
People are complaining hard about the latest pyro buff on the forums though.
Doesn`t mather to me though. I usualy end up in top 3 no matter what they buff.
Propably because most people haven`t heard about teamplay and expect COD gameplay.
(No cod hater by the way. I have played it and enjoyed that as well)
I have problems getting connected to other servers, so I've kinda lost out on this purchase.

I'm still waiting for AI. Once an AI is developed a whole mess of mods can come around from that.

Makes me sort of hope they do taunts. The Rex should have that as a taunt at least.
