Activision Tried to "Steal" Paintballer's Identity

Activision is really fucking up these days,
Im glad to see EA is making a comeback and actually putting effort into games now.
Activision at it's greatest.
jesus christ Activision, you used to be like every other game company, now you turned into shit
I hope it dies too,and with it all the shit it created or helped created

that's what makes me cringe honestly,if Activishit wasn't part of Blizzard,i'm sure it would be dead today, with all the shit it did
Spaces. I suggest you start using them after commas.
Other than that, I agree with your points.
Sounds like the DIRT franchise

There's a difference between being dead and being alive.
Underground 2 is a gulity one of mine.
Next discussion: Activision or Ubisoft - Who is the biggest shithead?
I used to actually own that game, it sucked. It was like they were trying to make a game in the begging but gave up in the middle of the process.
I believe I played that one. Technically, it was possible to cheat and whip paint off if you were quick enough (using a small mini game thing), but that was sometimes difficult and getting caught results in teammates going out.
This is exactly the sort of thing that helps to just kill competitive Paintball. You see it all the time too.

In my opinion, Activision, because I enjoyed AC2 and Splinter Cell: Conviction more than I enjoyed many games Activision has recently put out.
But Ubisoft's DRM is fucking stupid as hell, I do have to agree.
Dang, I was so excited for the paintball game revolution.
Maybe one day humanity will be ready for the revolution in paintball games, but not today.

Activision because there out to screw everyone they can.
Ubisoft is just delusional in thinking that their DRM is good.
THQ is the best publisher for me right now. Or maybe it is because they were part of the first STALKER game.
What the hell do you expect from a publisher that, in it's own words, said that any franchise published by them will be "annually exploited"?
Thats what power and wealth does bois :v: Just like it did to America and Russia.
I miss the old days of Activision, when they weren't always getting themselves is stupid situations like this...
Next discussion: Activision or Ubisoft - Who is the biggest shithead?
i say Acti is the biggest
Ubi makes decent game compared to Acti
look at the PoP series, the Assassin'sCreed series, the Rainbow6 series, the Splinter Cell series...
I used to have the first one. It wasn't bad :v:
I like how nobody in this thread knows anything about how businesses work.
if business means shoving your fanbase up your own ass and making yourself look more and more stupid by the day, then Kotick is a successful business man
THQ is the best publisher for me right now. Or maybe it is because they were part of the first STALKER game.
THQ rushed the release of the first STALKER and look at how glitchy it is/was.
They're no good.

There's nothing wrong with Ubisoft.
And don't start whining about the DRM. They are only doing that because of piracy; if people stopped pirating their work, then they wouldn't have to create a strict DRM like the one they have now.

If they would stop adding stupid DRMs, people wouldn't be pirating their work in the first place.
see this circle? sucks doesn't it?
I bet if Activision did steal his identity a good game might emerge after a few years.
I hate the fact for our next generation that Acti holds the rights to Spyro and Crash.
Come on...
Seriously? I'm scared now D=.
EA are the only decent publishers in my opinion.
EA are the only decent publishers in my opinion.
What of Valve? They are technically publishers and developers.
I like how nobody in this thread knows anything about how businesses work.
I love how you assume that they need all the extra money they'd be making, and decide to throw out a point that has no relevance to this situation.
They're not earning money to pay their people, or to develop better games, or to research new technology etc, they're just doing it to advance their own influence when, in reality, they barely have any competitors.
It's always slain me how totally up-front Bobby Kotick is with his business tactics. Like, in any big business, rat-bastard corporate types who only care about money are a dime a dozen, but at least when they get up in front of a microphone for the press, they at least pretend to have their consumers' best interests at heart, but Kotick is so blatantly soulless and greedy he almost seems more like a cartoon character than a real person.
if business means shoving your fanbase up your own ass and making yourself look more and more stupid by the day, then Kotick is a successful business man
His fanbase are idiots with 360s and MACs. More than likely they don't even know who Kotick is.
