No. I've seen pc's that can absolutely destroy an xbox.
anyway left 4 dead and left 4 dead 2 run like shit on the xbox, because they are pc-ports (i love that)

hahahaha! No you haven't.
I kind of noticed this, PC games always kind of have that, look if you want to call it that. It's not hard to tell the difference between the two if you're watching a video or something.
I always think PC games look clearer. But that is probably cause I don't have an HDTV
Okay, a more appropriate word would be Edge Jaggedness cause by lack of Anti-Aliasing.
Jaggies works.
inb4 Monster Hunter
Character movement in cinematics and what not on the xbox always looks horribly choppy to me, or any console for that matter.

My hard drive is 25gigs a second................
My hard drive is 25gigs a second................
They're talking about Ram. The average stick of ram (4gb or maybe 6gb) cannot come close to processing 2gb.
Of course, they are talking about SSD which is HDD's Super Fast cousin.

Nearly all PC's do that.

You missed the joke.
Also, it seems smoother because TV's tend to be shitty and not as accurate/sharp/clear as PC monitors.
I've connected my PC to my TV multiple times, and everytime I do it I instantly regret it.

Oh, and because there are still people that believe you can't see over 30FPS: http://www.boallen.com/fps-compare.html

Keep on believing that, bro!
I've seen TV's that are a helluva lot better than any monitor, especially my girlfriends new TV, it's astonishing.
You must be the kinda person who constantly puts their hand on the oven.
What? Every post I see of yours is continuously more retarded than the last.
I've seen TV's that are a helluva lot better than any monitor, especially my girlfriends new TV, it's astonishing.
Better than any monitor? Lolno.
You must be the kinda person who constantly puts their hand on the oven.
Might be correct, but exchange oven with GTX 480. :v:
Anyways, our TV might be shitty. It's a Full HD Samsung-something.
Not really funny since you're also the butt of your joke. And if it wasn't obvious the past few posts in this thread of mine are sarcasm.
When I connect my PS3 to my monitor (HDMI to DVI converter) it looks MUCH better.
Also keep in mind, you won't get the same picture from an HDMI port, as you would a VGA port.
Who said I use VGA?
I used to use DVI, which is pretty much the best alternative (though no sound).
But since I got a GTX 480 I've been using HDMI, so that I could get sound from the TV as well.
You don't see jaggies because the game renders everything at 600p, then upscales it to 720p, while upscaling it again to 1080p. Every time the image is upscaled the lines lose their definition, thus becoming less detailed, more blurred, and thusly less jagged.
ITT: Nobody can spot obvious trolls.
uh who the fuck would measure eyes in fps
and how would you do that
FREyePS
Stopped reading at the word "jaggies".
What a wonderful contribution to the thread, Thank you.
I'm not a graphics whore. I'll play a game that I like at whatever resolution it'll play at.
edit: The native resolution of my monitor is 2560x1440

Not quite 2 gig a second. It's over 1 gig. It would have to be 2048 to be 2 gig but it's only 2019.
Too much graphics.
Makes me sad.
makes me happy since i see people bitch about having "only" 30 fps all the time.
I always thought it was because of the refresh rate on TV's.
TVs don't come close to PC resolutions.

also this. an xbox is just a giant graphics card.
I've got a 60' Sony Aquos Quattro running at full 1080p; as in, I hook my laptop up, it'll have more trouble running most of my PC games at the very sharp 1920x1080 resolution it maxes at than my Xbox. Which is even a tad greater than my 22' 1680x1050 monitor.
Xbox games are simply more optimized and/or run at lesser detail settings to suit the hardware getup; sitting at an appropriate distance from the TV, however, the detail loss is hard to notice.
Also, if you DO have a 60' Quattro, I highly suggest playing Starcraft II on it. The color may blind you.

Not in base 10.
Hyuk hyuk.

Actually in HDD terms 1000MB = 1GB.
