I didn't because it was a bad cockpit view. It felt really zoomed out and your windshield only took up a tiny percentage of the screen. For Comparison Grid GT5
GRID wasn't too bad in my opinion, keep in mind that you're comparing a picture of a Nissan GTR with big windows and a spacious interior, to what I think is an Aston DBR9, which is crammed with rollbars and other things that would probably keep the driver's seat back/obscure certain parts of your view. The worst offender for window space was Forza 4 with the Esprit V8 and the LMP cars. I love Forza but can't play first person in any of the LMPs because of the camera.
Did you just say that it's okey to pirate because you're poor or have no money? Also, what? "yeah well not everyone has the spare income they don't work for to afford pre-ordering games that probably won't even ever come out" Who said anything about pre-ordering? Who doesn't work?
Yeah, it is ok. Nobody loses money if he wouldn't have bought the game anyway.
A wild mod appears! http://www.dsogaming.com/news/grid-2-cockpit-viewpoint-comes-to-the-pc-version-thanks-to-modders/ It's Super effective! But after using Hoodcam, I honestly prefer it over GRID's cockpit.

I started playing the career in GRID 2 and the AI is really bugging me. The guy always tells me to drift through curves to keep the speed what i also always do and usually works very well. But the AI isnt doing this and drives super slow in the curves. That wouldnt be a problem but for some reason you always start the race in the last part of the field. All the enemies are just blocking you all the time and you are forced to drive slow which is really damn annoying because the guy on the pole just builds up his lead which makes it really hard and sometimes impossible to catch up to him. This wouldnt be a problem if there would be some kind of qualification. Maybe just one round before each race and the best time gets the pole. This would also be useful to get to know the track. Also, the AI is very agressive and sometimes they just kick you out and cause you to crash which is just dumb. Id rather drive alone just to get good times than race with that AI. And im not interested in the multiplayer. I guess i have to wait for Dirt 4 to get more time races.
Yeah, it is ok. [editline]3rd June 2013[/editline] ALSO, someone sent me a PM with a very good OP, can you PM me again? Thanks.
I was shivering thanks to that music synced with gameplay in Elimination mode, that's one of the main reasons I like Grid - it just makes the racing actually exciting for me.

I prefer to take the corners slower but in a "proper racing" fashion, it's better and at the same time slows me enough in corners to actually make the AI a challenge.

Or just take pretty much any car with the "Grip" handling style
So I reached season 4 today. Okay I know that racing games are about speed but HOLY SHIT I AM GOING SO FAAAAAAASTHELP
Yeah, it is ok. Nobody loses money if he wouldn't have bought the game anyway.
justifying piracy by saying you're poor in a world where video games are cheaper than ever just does not work regardless, GRID 2 is one of the few recent games actually worth money
I'm just glad to another racing game on PC. We're starved of them.
The mods for GRID 1 that let you use any car in any race type on any track are amazing. Demolition Derbies around the Nurburgring in LMP1 cars :v:

Going 300+ on that circuit always resulted in hilarity.

They all just end up getting lodged under 18 wheelers :v: I did a 20 lap race and more than half the field didn't finish.
If you preordered, online gets an indycar which handles the closest to what you describe.
Yeah, I prepurchased on Steam and got everything, just haven't had enough attention span to get very far into the game yet.
I was a bit disappointed with the graphics. It looked terrible when I uploaded my videos to youtube.
I thought the graphics looked fine in your videos. Well, there's lots of simulations such as iRacing, rFactor 2, pCars, Live for Speed, etc
Played about 4 hours of it tonight. The best things tonight though: and This game is so much fun, I would put it above the original Grid.
