How would I know if I got an ending? [editline]3rd June 2013[/editline] Nevermind http://www.pentadact.com/category/conwaysblog/?K=20&U=30&C0=3&E1=2&C1=5&E2=2&C2=4&C3=1&C4=3&C5=3
Played the demo, thought it was pretty cool. Might get it soon or at least on sale, I really shouldn't be spending money though.
Loving the game. What are the level editor's capabilities?
When confronting the final "Boss" i simply burst into the room and shot him, before leaping out of the window :v: I got an achievement for interrupting him before he started talking
When confronting the final "Boss" i simply burst into the room and shot him, before leaping out of the window :v:
I just beat him to death.
I locked an enforcer in a room for 15 minutes on the fourth Selene murder plot thread mission by re-wiring his hand scanner so it opened another door when he tried to investigate the broken glass and activate it to help me instead by toggling something else, I spent 15 minutes figuring out how to do the next stage, where I rewired the lights on that floor to open the door to the room he was locked in when the lights were turned on by a switch. I flicked the lightswitch, jumped out of sight, waited for him to get out and then got in so I could use the wirejack on the yellow module. There was just one problem. The enforcer went over and flicked the lightswitch (which then of course locked the door), locking me in that room with no means of escape. Probably him getting revenge I guess :v:
This game is great. I love being able to concoct a plan, then set it in motion, taking everybody out in one fell swoop.
It'd be cool if steam workshop is integrated for the custom maps later on. (or something similar to what stealth bastard has)
I've paid but can't play it becuase stupid humble bundle sucks. THEY SUCK! DON"T BUY! THEY DON"T SEND KEYS! Can't wait to play
How much does the game change based on choices you make? I just told Katie the truth about erasing the footage (not a spoiler, you do that in the first level), and she immediately hung up. Are there different missions depending on how you handle dialogue?
Yeah, I didn't get my key for the Special Edition when I preordered on their site. But I went and rebought it on Steam though, totally worth it.
This will probably be a popular game for speedruns. 33 seconds on the last level for me. Okay, my cumulative mission time is 478 seconds, or 7:58. It would be a bit lower if there was a way to recover gun ammo. Shaved it down to 400 seconds, 6:40. Update: Shaved my cumulative completion down even more, to 365 seconds. That's 6 minutes and 5 seconds.
I really love the funny dialogue in this game and the rewiring ability is an outstanding gameplay mechanic. Really cool to make the whole level work like a big machine in your favor, manipulating everything from behind the scenes. Pretty much what I want Watch_Dogs to feel like, tho I'm starting to wonder if it's unreasonable expectations. Also I really really like how the gun isn't just for shooting problems away but actually comes with its very own mechanics for "moving guards around".
I really liked the whole experience, but I hope for DLC to make it longer. It was too short.
I hope that the community supports it with the level editor, seems rather simple, but hopefully that means more people make levels.
11 dead. 24 injured. 20 jobs. $13,000. The week echoed in my mind like something that happened in the last week. They don't let me name names on this blog, but the person behind the hit I was investigating is dead now. He played a dangerous game: insulting my hat. I didn't get the trigger man. When it came down to it, it turned out I didn't care. I don't know. I guess I picked the least shitty of two incredibly shitty sides. Maybe that doesn't matter. Maybe all that matters is that I now have the ability to kick down doors. Either way, I think I need 10ccs of ketamine and a Columbo marathon.
Really clever little game. I actually can't believe there are 8 ways to kill the final boss. I pounced on him and smashed him through the glass out of the building.
This game is so short, it's tragic

I pounced on him and smashed him through the glass out of the building.
I found all eight ways to kill him (though I somehow got the achievement for it somewhere around like Mission 6 or 7.) I think my favorite is kicking the door in to him. Also, I think I found what could be considered a nineth way. I shot out the window behind him and walked him backwards until he fell out on his own. Don't know if it counts that as tackling him out the window though.
Aaaargh, c'mon! What a pain to see a almost full bar. Really fun game though, despite being quite short, I enjoyed it. My favourite moment must've been when I accidentally created a loop with the crosslink, causing a guard to constantly flick the light switch on and off, forever. Some determined guard.
There are achievements? Uhh... [t]http://i.imgur.com/7bKZPA4.png[/t]
Really enjoyed it, gonna be working in the level editor, might post them here if they're any good. :v:
They won't stop! Send help.
Best achievement in any game ever. [t]http://i.imgur.com/1XfQOgP.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/FyQfs4H.jpg[/t] Also, my total time is 365 seconds (6:05). I bet that will be hard to beat.
I lost my sides when I got knocked down by a door.
I accidentally crushed myself with a vault door. Not pretty.
My favourite moment has to be when I wired a switch to a light that triggered an alarm when activated, and the alarm also triggered the same light to activate on the floor below. I turned off the light by walking into a camera, so a guard tried to switch it back on again with the switch. The other two guards went downstairs to turn off the alarm, which turned off the light again, so the guard upstairs kept flicking it on while the guards downstairs kept trying to turn off the alarm that kept triggering. I didn't even mean to do it, I just randomly wired some stuff together and wanted to see what would happen. I giggled.

[editline]4th June 2013[/editline] Also, 7 of those injuries were in the last level alone. I played trying to ghost every level.
Just beat it, managed to ghost the last level. It was pretty funny when the other agent guy dived out without me. I had some difficulty following the story though. Now I'm going to try to beat the entire game with no knockouts, ghosting, and where possible, not tripping a camera.
Also, after you beat the game, go back to the level where you have to listen in to Mark Jackson's conversation. After listening in, run back in to his door.
So judging from your Steam profile, it's about 2 hours then? The dev is releasing a level editor, right? Seems a bit short for something with a lot of potential.
There's already one in. http://www.mediafire.com/?4k9t31ma0wasqs1 Have a level I've made. Custom levels are located in the Levels folder of the game.
