Replace Chell with Rainbow Dash, Portal 2 sales triple.
what the hell is wrong with you
I really wish we had bad reading back. That pony thing was a joke by the writer of the article, referencing his unreasonably high expectations, much like a little girl expecting a pony for her birthday/Christmas. Valve does not like ponies, nothing about the dlc has anything to do with ponies,
grow some brain cells and be logical.

cancelling my steam account, buying blops and every dlc on another one and mw2
at least learn to read [editline]27th April 2011[/editline]
Replace Chell with Rainbow Dash, Portal 2 sales triple.
hes not lying people
YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!
knowing valve it will be free too. awesome
I hope its free on PS3 for people who linked their steam accounts.
A flashback of an old test subject of Appertre Innovations.
Assuming it's going to be free, I'll be happy with just about anything they give us. But I'd be really stoked if they gave us new/cut features like the vents or the paint that let you walk on walls/ceiling.
So is it free for pc users?
Yes. We had this issue with L4D2 when they started calling updates "DLC", and we weren't charged then.
I am excited!
I instinctively read "this summer" as "late November."
I instinctively read "this summer" as "late November."
Good plan.
Jeez, the game hasn't even half a month and you think they are giving you yet the SDK? It takes time.
It shouldn't take anywhere near as long as Valve take to release it. Although I get the feeling they have better things to do than support the modding community (and I really do mean that)
HOPEFULLY YES! But probably no for Console versions Plus why would they add ponies?
[sp]If you follow Wheatley's orders in chapter nine to come back and listen to his dialogue, he says something along the lines of "There's a pony farm down in that pit, just for you!"[/sp]
[sp]If you follow Wheatley's orders in chapter nine to come back and listen to his dialogue, he says something along the lines of "There's a pony farm down in that pit, just for you!"[/sp]
stop discussing it, it was just the writer fucking around
I instinctively read "this summer" as "late November."
Late November next year.
I would love some sort of flashback DLC where you use the giant backpack portal device. And you get to actually see Cave Johnson/other scientists observing you. Or something like that. Although, this would probably take a whole lot of work and would be better suited to it's own game.
Yes. We had this issue with L4D2 when they started calling updates "DLC", and we weren't charged then.
Exactly. DLC just stands for "Downloadable Content" Don't automatically assume you have to pay for it
I read somewhere that at the end of one of the comic side-stories, Ratman got shot and stowed himself away into an incubation chamber. Never read the comic myself, but it would be interesting to know what happens when he wakes up. Multiplayer racing or something like that would be rad, get some more replay value in that bitch :v:
Exactly. DLC just stands for "Downloadable Content" Don't automatically assume you have to pay for it
Yeah. For some reason the community thinks since they called it "DLC" instead of "update" it was going to be charged. I'm just bringing it up again before people start crying that Valve is Activision...again.
Yeah. For some reason the community thinks since they called it "DLC" instead of "update" it was going to be charged. I'm just bringing it up again before people start crying that Valve is Activision...again.
If you own an xbox, it'll probably be charged unfortunately, since Valve's "Make most of it cheap/free" policy and Microsoft's "Charge you for breathing" policy can't get along
READ THE COMIC You'll love it. www.thinkwithportals.com/comic
Thaaaaaanks!
Oh, I guess I'll just have to wait to see what it is. FUCK YEAH
uh what but....how :psyboom:
I want to see DLC where you play as a test subject in the 1960s Aperture Innovators labs and you use the original Quantum Tunneling Device seen on a poster in Portal 2. It would seriously only need a replacement of the Portal gun viewmodel, a new playermodel, and some new maps, maybe with new mechanics. (Like lower jumping or similar handicap as a result of the heavier Portal Gun which could be used to create a little more challenge because after all, many were disappointed with the lack of difficulty in the game) (This is the Quantum Tunneling Device as seen in Portal 2)
I hate how the source included "single player campaign" I got all excited too until I found out it was the dumb site author no one gives a fuck about. Heck, I think sites like Joystick, Kotoku (spelling?) suck since they always have so much BS, rememeber when the latter claimed Valve was "done with singleplayer games?" When Valve meant done with SP only games, which Valve has sorta never done until Portal since HL2:DM is the multiplayer of the HL2 saga.
1 week valve time. And in other news, valve likes ponies.
Holy shit fuck off you fucking pony-fucking shit head. [editline]1025[/editline]
Replace Chell with Rainbow Dash, Portal 2 sales triple.
Kill yourself.
Worst case scenario: Co-Op skins and other useless crap that costs money Best case scenario: Added test chambers for single player and co-op, utilizing cut content like the Pneumatic Diversity Vent Best BEST case scenario: More Cave Johnson
haha how did I miss that poster? that's awesome, always wondered what the old portal gun looked like
If you played Portal 2 it was literally right in front of you when you first entered [sp]the enrichment spheres in Old Aperture,[/sp] where it was warning you that without the portal gun the tests were impossible. We all need to be more like him. MORE CAVE JOHNSON!
