Losing a clip could have to do with the "active reloading" the game has, where you seem to get a small boost if you click your reload button again when the lines match. (Gears of War did this also). Having it so you loose a mag means you can be spamming it constantly trying to get it.

Normal is fucking crazy with last map unless you have two medics because the parasites will fuck you up.

Never reload autocannon mid-clip.
Adrenaline is good, but you must remember to use it.
Damage amp is thrown item.

Normal isn't crazy at all, and we beat the last level even though 2 of us died because of moron randoms, the last two managed to finish the level by themselves, like half way in. Without medics.

You need a medic to heal you, or you need a teammate to kill you.

I played a long session with some friends, it's fucking awesome and I hope they make more campaigns later on.
To those having the problem with infected marines. Is your medic the female one? She has 5/5 healing and 3/3 parasite removal while the guy has 4/5 healing 1/3 parasite removal
Just played this all night with a couple of buds. We had a MAJOR blast. Went through the campaign on Easy (hurr durr. We wanted to get to the end first), then started up Normal. We're going to bed now (6am) but later we're gonna finish the game on Normal and do the rest of the difficulties. :v:
Rate agrees if you just can't wait to see what the community cooks up for this!
I hope the inevitable Team Fortress 2, Half Life, and Left 4 Dead-themed campaigns are decent.

Disagree, Telsagun stuns enemies and is immensely useful against shield swarm

Tesla Gun and Flamethrower are the best I have so far. That I have used at least. I am level 19, oh yeah, I unlocked a flashlight finally.

I run it smoothly, even while hosting.

Most of the time it's when the Host's game is frozen. I had that experience myself. The game would freeze for about 20 seconds and when it would unfreeze everyone = dead.

I don't think Valve has said anything. It'll probably depend on the popularity of the game.
