I'm making a survival map but there's one thing I noticed wrong with hammer. Every time I compile the brush for the button(trigger_asw_button or something like that, which is a brush tied to entity) reverts back to a regular brush. Pissing me off.
I can't be the only one that thought "Space Hulk mod!".
Damn.
I want to set up a server for this in first person, but then there's no way for people to do the hacking parts.

Now If I could figure out how to get models to compile for AS I'd have Space Marine player models by now.

The only way I can really figure to do the hacking in Firstperson is change the controls back to normal for the duration. Unfortunately, that means a bit more extra work for you.

Maybe Murphy can help you, he did the Killing Floor mod as you know for AS. He comes here from time to time, was the guy who did the TRAINING INFILTRATOR on TF2.

I was just thinking of running the first level on normal. All you'd need is a welder/hacker and somebody with a turret/flamethrower or shotgun and just smash your way through
people with chainsaws would definitely beat hacking and welding, as far as ive seen its the quickest way to break doors.
I would advise using flamers for everything other than that, while one person hacks the last thing, one breaks down the door with a chainsaw while 2 defend.
if you run for it then youll probly make it if you did it right.
A chainsaw still takes awhile to cut through a door, though.
Would be awesome with an Aliens(the movie Aliens) mod!

Not if your entire team uses the chainsaw.

Retesting, the chainsaw is an utter beast going through a door. Sadly, I promoted and have to level back up to use it.
Promoting was the dumbest thing I have done in this game. I miss my telsa armor.
You should be max level soon enough, i was max prestige and level within about 20 hours of playtime, and that was before i found out about the console commands that will just let you cheat.
If you used those you could level up silly quick.

Sound mods work fairly well. Vegas has to be Demoman, since he's black + another race (Vegas is Spanish/Mexican, Demoman is Scottish), Bastille has to be Spy, considering that they're both French. Faith is Medic, though Jaeger is a more appropriate choice for nationality purposes.

I threw out a bunch of flares and my computer turned off.

Now to be honest I don't know how you are able to do the bridge level in the allotted time.
I Eventually got it after 5 trys with console commands but each one we were still waiting on the aircraft to hurry the fuck up and land unless there is a different way to do the mission which I haven't heard about.
