Last time I tried it said that payment was denied after about 2 hours, shouldn't happen with PayPal and all the possible causes were in regards to credit cards.

I had a problem as well, it just timed out and gave me a error (nothing with denied though) but after the second try it did work
My fortress is literally invincible. Only catch? No new Gnomads can ever arrive and no Merchants can ever enter. No Gnome may ever leave.
The moment I open my 'gate' the Mants, Orges and Goblins slaughter the 20~ Gnomes that run out to collect retarded things like clippings, bodies, armor and than they'd surge into my walls and kill my modest Army; The Republic Defense Force. So everytime Gnomads and Merchants show up we're forced to listen to their screams of terror piercing the dead of night and echo past our walls until they fall silent.
I walled off a huge area outside, enough for a massive tree-farm, giant Apple orchard, massive strawberry farm, modest Wheat/Cotton production. The prized Yak's, the Honorable Emu's and Holy Alpacas.
Inside I have yet to be assed to give everyone personal rooms, but I'll do that next because I'm sitting on resources I have no use for. I have all workshops, sufficient stockpiles and huge food/wine supplies. All my mines are lit up the ass with torches so nothing spawns in them.
So basically the "Republic of Gnomoria" is now an isolated hermit kingdom destined for extinction as our meager population of 40~ Gnomes begin to inbreed with one another generation after generation until they all become sterile and our Grand Republic tears it's self asunder.
[i]Godbless the Republic of Gnomoria, and nobody else.[/i]
That's halfway beautiful
I have a peaceful world, but golems, skeletons and goblins keep popping up. They seem to be much easier to kill but is that supposed to happen?
Dumb question but is there a way to remove stairs ?
Well there goes my kingdom, 1 zombie is all it took, Well a dirt golem to keep my soldiers occupied while the bastard went around eating everyone.

Deconstruct tool
Swear to fuck, every time something happens.
This time I have 6 medics and all my battered dnomes keep starving or die of dehydration.
anyone had this?
I have more than enough food and booze

I swear hospitals kill more than they save, I tried it out and everyone died of thirst, As soon as i removed the hospital they got off their asses and went back to work and to fetch their own damn food and drinks.
Lazy bastards.
Do you guys have wells? Maybe it's like Dwarf Fortress, where the sick and injured can only drink water.
[editline]17th November 2012[/editline]
And buckets.
wells only work when you have like no more water left iirc

You mean booze / milk, right?
[editline]17th November 2012[/editline]
Or do wells magically make water available as a sort of last resort for when you have no drinking supply?

i think thats how it works
not positive though
Basically. If your drink hits 0 thirsty Gnomes take drinks from the well. At first it's no big deal, they stand there for a few minutes, drink and leave.
The problem becomes when you don't have drink for a long time and 10/15 gnomes or more stand infront of it for hours waiting to get a drink.
I had that happen once and like six of them died of thirst waiting for their turn.
Gnomes are so polite.
"No no, it's okay, it's your turn. I could die from dehydration, but it's not a big deal, I...*faints*"
Could you not build more than one well to counteract the queuing problem?
Making a playlist from songs that fit Gnomoria

Got only 2 songs, anyone care to add some?

Doesn't really fit your theme you've got on the playlist, though. This is kinda dramatic, but it's what I listen to in the background (among others).

Another I like.

And the most Gnomoria-ish of them all:

Eschalon Book 1/2 OST, FTL OST
And not we got 10 songs in the playlist, woop
Glad you liked the songs, buddy! Also, if you're playing Gnomoria, I highly recommend getting Pandora and just listening to the channel "Hans Zimmer"

Never tried. It's almost counter-productive to have wells because if you have 0 drink for more than a day they spend all their time drinking from the well and never have time to work so you barely have the ability to fix the problem.

Basically anything by Explosions in The Sky. It's all slow instrumental rock with build up and climaxes.

My two recommendations.

You need nurses.
Even with nurses I think it's a bugged feature I read somewhere. Theyll starve regardless.

You need to assign one or two Gnomes with 'Caretaker'. These Gnomes will then bring food and drink to Gnomes recovering in the hospital.
I had like 2 nurses...They couldn't feed everyone.
So somehow I accidentally toggled the ability to see other floors below the current floor, is there any way to turn it off?
