I think it is Q, E or F. Either one, Also you can check the control options.

Saw a couple of cool gameplay videos, it looks really convincing. Any opinions on this game?
Saw a couple of cool gameplay videos, it looks really convincing. Any opinions on this game?
Very nice timewaster, also perfect game for a laptop if you got one. Currently playing it to waste away time till Hitman Absolution drops off
Is there a tutorial of some sorts that I can help me out?
Newest Update apparently fixes infinite hospital bed waiting issue:
v0.8.20.1 Fixed Crash when changing items in a build menu v0.8.20 Fixed Crash when switching tabs in the Butcher Shop UI Crash loading jobs in rare cases Gnomes sometimes trying to butcher and stock a corpse, resulting in a crash Rare crash when typing in a drop down box Crash when loading a game with a corpse that is about to rise as a zombie Crash when loading with an active refuel steam engine job Crash on startup when Windows Media Player is not installed. This is a temporary fix and in the meantime, no audio will play when WMP is not installed Mant worker spawns varying much more than intended for medium ranges of Kingdom Worth. This was on average causing more mants to spawn than should Some memory leaks causing UI to get progressively slower Trying to attack enemies that can't be reached. Ranged attackers will still attack if the target is within range and line of sight Butcher Shop queueing a job for something unreachable Gnomes accepting a Fell Tree job from a Grove when they don't have an axe and no axe is available Items sometimes simultaneously being held and in a crate Gnomes not using the closest dormitory or dining room when applicable Hospital jobs not cancelling properly causing gnomes to wait in hospital beds forever Steam engines not burning fuel properly and displaying an incorrect fuel amount Over zealous squad members assisting the squad leader while training

Newest Update apparently fixes infinite hospital bed waiting issue:
Wow, this adds some pretty choice fixes.
Mhhh. I'm kind of on the fence about this game. It's pretty inexpensive, but it's more a matter of having so many other games I haven't finished yet.
Got this game today and I'm loving it. I always lvoed the concept of DF, but could never get my head around the whole ASCII thing.
So any new updates? I don't know where he posts the change log myself.

So, hate to keep bumping this but the game is great. Unfortunately, I had to buy it again Direct. I bought Desura before for 'auto updates' but between Desura being a horrible platform and the fact that we've gotten no updates so far I just had to get Direct so I could try out all the new features and stuff.
This game is great. Its like a better looking DF, except DF only when you don't know how to do any real cool stuff (Cool that can only be achieved in DF) yet. Its like right after you just learn how to play DF and are struggling to survive, except looks nicer and has controls.
How do stairs work in this game? The up/down ramps confuse the hell out of me.
How does one rotate furniture? Also there are a bunch of workshops that aren't being built And my stone block workshop just up and stopped working for some reason.

From what I can see on the Gnomoria site this is the latest version and was released on December the 18th.

I don't even know how to explain it. I took me four days to even get into my Desura account and make Gnormoria show up and when it asked me if I wanted to update it gave me some bullshit error and than gave me the option to update.
A bear just murdered all but two of my gnomes. This game is great. :v:
How does one rotate furniture? Also there are a bunch of workshops that aren't being built And my stone block workshop just up and stopped working for some reason.
You rotate furniture with the R key. Did you specify a particular type of log/plank and stone/block for your workshops? If you did, you may have run out of them, if you didn't specify a particular type of wood/stone, iirc a bug can occur where it isn't built for some reason (you do also have builders, don't you?) For the Stone block workshop, did you assign a gnome to it? If so, they may have gone to sleep, if not, there may be no stonecutters available, and did you give it a craft to order? if so, it wont make any more until some are used up.
How long does it take for a tree to grow in a grove?
How long does it take for a tree to grow in a grove?
I think it's slightly borked. The Wiki says that it should take three to four days for a tree to grow, but I had a grove do absolutely nothing for a good eight days.
Anyone?
Maybe if you were a little more specific on what you wanted help with understanding?
Maybe if you were a little more specific on what you wanted help with understanding?
I don't know what the problem was earlier but stairs work fine for me now. I feel like an idiot but I swear to Christ something was not right before.
Are you trying to grow indoors/underground?
outdoors.
are the groves set to auto cut clipping, fell trees and plant clipping? if so it may be that they're being cut down when you arent looking. It takes about 8-10 game days for a tree to grow.
