Aww it's an MMO? :( I REALLY like the idea of this game but it seems better suited for private rooms. I think it'd be easier to manage stealing/defending from 32 - 64 people than it would be going against hundreds or thousands. Still looks fun though. I'll definitely follow its' development.
It's not too bad saying there's only a certain amount of people online at any time.
Can you booby-trap your kids?
i am terrible at this
Looks like i went away for eight hours with only a kid being shot. But the robbers brought my pit bulls to the door. Me not realizing that it makes you play it after something changed via a robber clicked go. :suicide:
$8!? yes! thanks for sharing op

I wish I could put my wife behind a pressure plate so she could trigger traps for me. That'd be damn useful. :v:

Crafty people, always makes me scared to step on electric floors.
Would anyone be interested in trading this for Men Of War: Assault Squad, Metro 2033, Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery, Splice, Crayon Physics Deluxe, The Binding of Isaac + Wrath of the Lamb DLC and Cave Story? I really want this game and I dont have any money now

Is there any wiki or anything which contains information about what each item does?
There's this video that is kind of helpful with the electronic and house parts: Someone has attempted to get a wiki going on Reddit but hasn't had any luck, but here it is anyway in case one of you want to contribute to it, and I might throw some things on it later: http://castledoctrine.wikia.com/wiki/CastleDoctrine_Wiki
Bought it Its really fucking frustrating, every house I've tried to rob is just a silly luck maze of concrete walls and pitbulls And every time you lose to one of these I have to rebuild my entire goddamn house [editline]17th March 2013[/editline] I can make clever traps, but its not really worth it since you'll always end up in some practically impossible house and die and have to remake the entire goddamn contraption, screw up testing it and have to remake the whole thing again

It's fun to set up something clever and see people get wrecked by it, but it isnt terribly fun to rob and make things at the same time since you'll have to remake the thing over and over again
Seems legit.
Set up my impenetrable $500 maze (yeah whatever $2000 and its still shit) cant wait for tomorrow morning, looking forward to watching someone attempt it.
I have to say out of all of the layouts i've tried, all of them would be more successful if there was such a thing as a decoy vault.
Most likely buying this tomorrow, looks fun and seems to have an interesting theme. How long does it take to learn, roughly?
Is there a way to change your name? I figured there'd be a username and it wasn't just going to use your real name.

There's very few houses out there that are genuinely impossible but they do exist (and they're usually on the first page of the house list).
oh shit $8 uh if someone wants a $10 game on steam and is willing to give me $8 in return on my paypal then add me on Steam and we can work something out
This. I can offer Killing floor in exchange for say, £10.
Fuck it, I'm buying this. It just looks fun as hell that it's both passive and active.

Walk back and forth at the entrance. Leave the house if there's a thousand dogs running at you. But yeah, dog spam in houses is one of the biggest problems I have with this game at the minute. Easy to avoid though, just avoid houses that have a high amount of players entering, and a low amount of deaths. [editline]17th March 2013[/editline]
Also bullshit like pressure sensitive electric floors (how the fuck do these work)
Usually a dog trying to follow you which steps on a pressure plate turning them on when you stand on them.
totally want to strip the game part out of the game's source code to bring it down to a simple simulator, so you can build and rebuild houses and die and die and so on without losing anything, but not connected at all, so you can just plan shit out

Ok, so can someone explain what each item does?
Makes sense, quite utterly bullshit though considering you cant see the dog
As I kept reiterating in both the OP, and thread, use tools and don't leave anything to chance. Cut the wires to the electric floors before you even dare step on them if you're not willing to take the risk, or find the dog.
