Would anyone be interested in trading this for Men Of War: Assault Squad, Metro 2033, Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery, Splice, Crayon Physics Deluxe, The Binding of Isaac + Wrath of the Lamb DLC and Cave Story?
I really want this game and I dont have any money now
Definitely still offering?
Ok, so can someone explain what each item does?
Here's what I know so far:
Saw - Cuts through wooden walls
Crowbar - Smacking bitches (aka wife)
Cutting Torch - Cuts through steel walls
Gun - Shoots things like dogs, kills them.
Brick - Hold down pressure plates and you can throw them from quite a distance onto one.
Voltage Detector - no idea
Door stop - I assume it holds open powered doors.
Wire cutters - snips wire
Exposives - Gets through concrete walls
Drugged Meat - Puts dogs to sleep (Don't step on the dog or you'll die)
Water - Shorts things like electric floors when they're turned on, and shorts power supplies.
Ladder - I assume it gets you over pits.
If you're talking about house items, check here, I have most of them wrote out, and the dogs will be done soon.

Sweet
Just got a 100$ prepaid visa today.
Guess what I'm getting
do people only have to reach your safe to rob you not escape as well? i watched a tape of my house being robed and it ended when he reached the safe but there was no way he could escape
Definitely still offering?
I'm feeling generous, I'll get it for you
And congratz to JakeAM

Yeah, once they get to the safe they pretty much win and get out of the house automatically.
that seems shitty, whats the point in setting up traps like in the house in the op or having to prove your house is fair
The trap in the OP isn't very practical, it was mainly used to show the mechanics of the game off in an easy way. However, it would be useful in say a maze where you can kill the player for taking a wrong turn because they can't back out of an area. Notice I did exactly that in the gif I posted in the first page.
You have to prove your house is fair because otherwise it would be possible to make it impossible for a thief to get to your safe.

Most bullshit thing I've created so far
(Gonna make that steel wall 3 thick when I steal more dosh, and replace the wood with concrete)
I just put a ton of pitbulls down the bottom near the vault and a few pits up the top somewhere.
To get past it they have to run straight for the pits so all the pit bulls fall down it.
Best case is they go down first see the pitbulls and escape, If they go up without going diagonal straight to the trap doors they have no choice but to get mauled by pitbulls.
It's completely unfair but its fun watching the tapes.
Oh god, fucking christ, reinforced it, slipped up while proving it and died
I'm feeling generous, I'll get it for you
As it turns out he already had it
The powered metal ones?
Yep

A lot of people seem to underestimate water
Broken through a lot of bullshit with it
Sadly electric floors need to be on before it works, so you cant get past a lot of dog traps with it
Water is the shit. Only $2 too. Barely ever need wire cutters because of it.
2 saws + 3 bottles of water
beat everything
goddamnit, died again proving my trap due to some wiring failure while upgrading it
Just got it. Are there any beginners guides anywhere? I have no fucking idea what i'm doing.

I'll have a getting started page up on the wiki in the next hour. But other than that, check out some YT videos and watch what you're supposed to be up to.
Christ. I built a shitty house and then the music started up really loud. Like really tense as fuck music.
It's like 2:08 AM here :v:

Fuck. Dying in your own house during testing deletes everything :|
This game is great but theres just so many houses that have no family and have an absurd amount of things built in them, theres no way people have earned this much money as you dont even get any when someone dies in your house
Check the op for links to the getting started guide I mentioned in my last post, a list of all the items in the game and what they do, and a list of the house parts and what they do.

Of course, I'm an idiot.
[editline]17th March 2013[/editline]
Making proper logic gates is so motherfucking hard when you have no budget.
this game brings out my inner turbo nerd
