Why does the wife run off with half of the money?
I'm sure you can just pay someone to kill your family.
Just had someone build an exact copy of my trap (except with a bigger entrance) But he copied the keycode part too Wrecked [editline]17th March 2013[/editline] Goddamnit, I'm at like the top 5 now after a very successfull robbery I'm being robbed so often I cant even get into my house to upgrade the ultrashite security
Some guy just randomly died in my house whilst walking over a sleeping pitbull... did it wake up? He just exploded into gibs.
I hate pitbulls + doors with a passion If I'm not sitting exactly right in my chair, I cant see them properly [editline]18th March 2013[/editline]
This game looks super fun. I love these sort of planning games. I wish I had some steam gifts to offer, since I don't have any money :( All I've got is an arma 3 lite gift.
I hope they add some sort of thing that lets you keep an initial layout you build for the 2k. I spend a shitton of time building a badass house but then I die because of some bullshit reason or during testing and I have to do it all over again. And add a fucking pit bull limit. Half the houses are just ten thousand pit bulls combined with blind luck.
Seems like the thing to do to be able to bruteforce some of people's houses is to respawn, buy the equipment you need, then spend the rest of your money building your own house (don't leave any money), then try to bruteforce the house in question. The trick is to leave as little money as possible in your vault so there's no point robbing it, and possibly don't bring any equipment you know you won't use, so you leave nothing if you die.
I don't get why they added that in... is it meant to be realistic?
As far as I know it's supposed to be to keep people making extremely complicated contraptions.
I think it adds to the fun that you have to rebuild your base it teaches you not to take risks without good planning and I agree on the pit bull limit
As far as I know it's supposed to be to keep people making extremely complicated contraptions.
that sounds rather counter-intuitive if you ask me
that sounds rather counter-intuitive if you ask me
Not really. Chances are if you're repeatingly killing yourself with your own traps it's not going to make for a fun house for others to play.
Hah, someone was using a combination lock kind of thing, and I managed to guess the combination! Either that or they set it up wrong.
How do I make it so that two switches is required to cancel an electric gate? [editline]18th March 2013[/editline] And what's a rotary toggle switch do?
Geez, another house with a million pitbulls? How original.
Hah, someone was using a combination lock kind of thing, and I managed to guess the combination! Either that or they set it up wrong.
I think that may have been mine. If it was, I ran out of money for the rest. I was trying to set up so that if you do it out of order a door opens next to the switches and you get chased by a pit bull.
That feel when you spend a lot of time setting up a trap, and then the first person robbing you messes it up leaving a clear path to the safe
That feel when your trap gets bypassed really easily due to something you hadn't considered.
Trying to rob a house is like playing professor a Professor Layton game, except every time you fail a puzzle it erases your save.
Are you able to sell parts of your house after you pass it? It's really annoying that I can't sell parts to help repair my house. [editline]17th March 2013[/editline] And I have to reset my animals every time?
Nope. And yes you have to reset your animals but I don't think it charges you for another if you delete the moved animal first.
uggh it wont accept my prepaid American Express Gift car. Damnit [editline]17th March 2013[/editline] oh its because it only has 5.92 on it herp
Oh for fuck sake I hate people who just walk back and forth in front of the entrance and wait for your wife to walk into sight and then they kill her, take the money, and leave. That's just such bullshit.
The family isn't all that important anyway. I actually like having them dead because then I don't need to accommodate for them which usually opens up weaknesses in my house.

If she is not spotted, she shouldn't fucking run to the exit, especially with few grands in her cunt !!! Why we can't build a room for her to stay fucking hidden?!
What? You thought I was talking about in-game? Pfff
5 people tried to rob my house and they all died stepping on the most obvious trap Watching the security tapes feels pretty satisfying
5 people tried to rob my house and they all died stepping on the most obvious trap Watching the security tapes feels pretty satisfying
Yes, especially when they feed pitbulls with poisoned meat and then step on them...
is there any way to put this into a windowed mode?
