I don't know about the console with the GOLD controller, but an n64 should be around $50, and one standard controller should be $15 so put them together, it should be like $65 all together.
pssh, you could find a controller for like $10 if you look hard. $15 on average.

On PJ64, how do you make it stop studdering? Like it freezes for half a second, then plays normal again... it isnt my PC because it runs everything else perfectly fine.

I just got an N64 with Majoras Mask and Mario 64. I can't find any other games though. None at the pawnshop besides Goldeneye for 20bucks, checked my local classifieds and Kijiji but no such luck :(

Whoops, sorry for the bump guys. Last post was 2011 but I seen this in popular threads because of how many guests are viewing
N64 was the very first console I owned. My brother had an SNES and my sister had a Genesis, but they weren't mine.
Then the N64 came out and I got one for my birthday, with Mario 64 of course. I'll never forget my time with Mario 64. So many fond memories with that game.
And of course all the fun my brother and I had with Mario Kart 64. StarFox 64 was one of my favorite games ever as a kid Still pretty high up there today.
Paper Mario 64 was the game that got me into turn based games.
Beating OoT was such an accomplishment. And Majora's Mask has a special place to me because not only was it one of the best Zelda's, but it was a christmas gift from my grandmother, who died a month after christmas. I still have the cartridge.
After I got my N64, my brother got a PS1 and my sister got a Dreamcast when it came out.
After that we kinda stuck with our platforms. Of course we played each others consoles as well but we generally stuck with one.
Next gen I went Gamecube and my brother went PS2 and my sister went Xbox. Same with the gen after that.
Shame how we kinda no longer keep in touch.
I kinda miss those days. Games don't feel the same to me. I still find them really fun and all, but Idunno. I don't feel as excited as I did the moment I first got the wing in Mario 64, or the shock I felt when I saw Ganon in OoT, or that damned Piano in Mario 64.
I still have my original N64 from when I was 8 or so.
I got one like a month ago. Both LoZ's, MarioKart, Mario64, Goldeneye, BanjoKazooie, Conker, and PerfectDark.
Good times are being had as we speak.
I bought an N64 off eBay a while ago. Currently have Mario 64, Super Smash Bros., Kirby 64, and Banjo Kazooie. Plan on getting Banjo Tooie at some point.
It's a shame MK64 is so ridiculously overpriced, would buy it otherwise

Was playing this a few days ago with my younger brother watching (6). Remembering all these hard levels like facing IG-88 and facing Boba Fett... As well as the last boss in that palace, just when I thought I had killed him he comes back...then back again...then dead. Now to try and complete this on Jedi.

When I was about 7-8 I got mine as a gift. We had rented about a dozen games from blockbuster but when we came to return them the Blockbuster had been closed down. Very great times.

I'm getting my mom an N64, cause she enjoyed playing pokemon snap and stadium for the minigames.
