Who remembers this game (As much of a gimmick as it was)? I think my father liked this game more than me. I still distinctly remember him calling Pikachu a piece of shit just to see how he responded.
Yeah... "Pikachu, use thunderbolt" Pikachu runs over and picks up a plant, eats it, gets angry. "NO I SAID USE THUNDERBOLT" Pikachu runs off screen to go talk to Bulbasaur and have a party. Fuck you Pikachu.
I can't find my goddamn Expansion Pak. No Pak, no games.
The WWE games were so fun and slow-paced.
Fuck yeah. No Mercy was the shit.
The most beautiful music I've heard in a video game. Refer to avatar. Also, [img_thumb]http://world-of-games.co.uk/N64%20&%20DS/album/Donkey%20Kong%2064-b.jpg[/img_thumb] Never forget.
RIP Chunky Kong. I'll never forget you.
fuck off blue shell
I can't find my goddamn Expansion Pak. No Pak, no games.
I don't remember many games using it... The only game I had that used it was DK64 and that came with it.
It's possible to play N64 online using a special emulator, works really well with the classic Smash Brothers. Great fun if you don't have anything to do but make sure you have a usb controller.
I don't remember many games using it... The only game I had that used it was DK64 and that came with it.
Rayman 2 also used it. It did work without it though. Oh yeah, Rayman 2. That was a nice story. I went to play to a friend and he happened to have Goldeneye. I was blown away. Following christmas, I begged my parents to get me Goldeneye (I was 10-11 back then), but they knew what Goldeneye was. So instead, they got me Rayman 2. I was pissed at first, until I started playing. They had hard times getting me away from it again :v: I still play it from time to time.

Just found my collection of 11 Nintendo 64 games today. Super Mario 64, Conker's Bad Fur Day, and Paper Mario all day today. Although, as a child, I never got to play Goldeneye :(
Mediocre console compared to the Playstation, you guys are way too nostalgic. Every game posted in this thread are the obvious choices of good N64 games, but if you want more, then you just got fucked, because there ain't more. The console completely lacks of some important genres (like fighting or 2D games. It's just a really limited library of games.
I just played Majoras Mask, its is annoying as fuck.

If you think the Playstation is so much better than the N64, then go make a Playstation 1 thread to talk about how much better it is.

Hated the controls (and still do to this day) and I was so used to Nintendo games none of the Playstation games really appealed to me.

Turn on my N64, and this comes on.
By the way, why hasn't THIS game been mentioned yet?

RRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDGE RACER!!! It was my favorite racing game on the N64 next to Mario Kart 64. Also, I never knew it has a Nintendo DS remake.
While the Playstation had more games, the N64 had vastly superior games.
arguable.

Be objective.
Because I can't stand people saying that this is the best console ever. Be objective.
It's a thread dedicated to a console a lot of people loved to bits, and you expect them to be objective?
Because I can't stand people saying that this is the best console ever. Be objective.
Dude, this is an N64 thread. If this was a PS1 thread, there would be people thinking the PS1 is the best console ever.

I made a discovery that you can watch people play games in real time with the netplay enabled emulators. I was playing Mystical Ninja whilst someone watched for an hour or so. No delays or anything. God I love that game.
ITT: PS1 fanboys trying to start shit with N64 fans.

This thread inspired me to find my N64, but it is nowhere to be found. Perhaps I should search through the loft... On a more unrelated note, when my Gamecube was broken and unable to read discs, it corrupted every disc I put into it - every single one. That's a lot of games down the drain.
Harvest Moon 64 anyone? [IMG_THUMB]http://bulk2.destructoid.com/ul/181459-n64harvestmoon64.jpg[/IMG_THUMB] I found a copy in our local Play it, Trade it. It ran me $40 but I love this damn game.
