Never played the N64 version but the DS one was mediocre. I sold it and got Phantom Hourglass.
My favorite games on N64 were Banjo Kazooie, Snowboard Kids, Star Wars Episode 1 Podracer and Buck Bumble.

Every game supported it, right? It's just an upgraded Jumper Pak. Which means there's no reason to get both. Cheaper to just buy the Expansion Pak and use it for all my games.

Heh. Only 2 games require it. Majora's Mask and DK64.
I know those are the only games that require it. I own DK64, so I need the Expansion Pak to play that, and since it works as a normal Jumper Pak for every other game there's no reason I'd need both.

Actually, since the EP is basically a 4 MB RDRAM booster, it does affect other games, too. Some games will get higher-resolution textures. Others will just plain run better. There are also games that require it for certain features of the game, such as support for three and four players in MP.

Ahhhh :) Reminiscing about the old days of DK64 and my wonderful yellow cartridge. Us Australians also got the golden Ocarina and Majoras Mask cartridges.

I used to have Majora's mask and Ocarina of time. I don't know what the fuck happened to them but I want to play them again. Crackhead collectors upped the price of them on eBay. I don't want to have a game just to say I have it, I want to play it.
I bought a 360 controller to use for pj64. The primary stick settles a little down and to the left, so all my playable characters mosey in a circle. It's not really a serious defect either, so I'm not sure I can return it.
Well you should be able to return it and get a replacement depending on where you got it from.
I remember many years ago my friend found at least 10 Majoras Mask carts behind Blockbuster. I still have mine. :D

The 360 controllers I've owned in the past have all been damn near perfect. This is the first time I've seen this and it's really annoying.
And I got it at Fred Meyer, so I'll have to look at the receipt.
