I jizzed exactly thrice.

These look nothing like the shots he gave us.
Perfect example of not living up to the hype. I'm a victim as well.
Pff fuck the graphics, I'm playing Crysis on all low and having a blast.
4870 512mb
E8400 3.0ghz
4GB RAM
Vista Ultimate 64bit
I can play Very High, but it stutters a fuckload, especially after reformatting so I tried all Low (physics on medium of course) and holy shit it still drops to 20fps at times, but it proves that the game can be a shit ton of fun.
ummm someone remind me what graphics card i need 4 of to run it like that.

This.
Am i the only one who thinks that graphics doesn't matter? I mean, graphics can be nice some times but if they get like real life i don't think it's fun anymore.
Rusty, I demand you Crysis on Low (with medium physics).
Report back asap.

Run #1- DX9 1280x1024 AA=No AA, 32 bit test, Quality: Custom ~~ Last Average FPS: 123.35
lmao
It does run better for me, or maybe it's because the GTS 250 is slightly better than the 8800ultra I replaced

I have:
4850 512
E8500 3.16ghz (or something around that)
2GB RAM
Vista Ultimate 32 bit and it runs great on very high

lol you dont even know cpu speed
But that is the correct frequency.
I told you guys this was a load of bullshit. I could tell his screenshots were extremely "doctored up" and set up to look good... 99% of the configs that look good in screenshots look like ass in motion.

Quick question, why would you ever play the game in DX9 when DX10 mode looks better?

Whaddya want, an award?
If only I had a good computer.
Aside, It's amazing how realistic it looks, It's what you'd show to someone who thought game graphics could only look so real.

Too bad it looks nothing like this in-game.

Yes
Quick question, why would you ever play the game in DX9 when DX10 mode looks better?
First of all Very High on DX9 looks better and performs better, and second of all, perhaps he hasn't Vista?
First of all Very High on DX9 looks better and performs better, and second of all, perhaps he hasn't Vista?
Erm, no it's not, DX10 Very High is more natural and rich and vibrant.
Did you try turning up object motion blur on DX9? Faces of people can become scary.

I hate people like you.
First off, you can't have DX9 Very High. If you modify the .ini file to have Very High aspects in it, it creates bad graphics bugs (trying to use DX9 render library to render DX10 will usually cause that).
Also, DX9 runs better, yes. But Dx10 only takes away about three to five frames, and is much more stable FPS wise (Not nearly as much FPS range with DX10 than with 9)
He even said he had Vista, when he ran a very high 4xaa test to test real lifesis mod
We've been had, men.
Yep, I can only imagine the crymod thread right now.
Wow. Looks incredible.
I still can't play Warhead on highest settings at an acceptable framerate though. I was told I'd be able to run it fine.
I've got a Radeon 4870, a Quad Core (4x 2.66GHz) and 4GB of RAM. I'm only playing it on my crappy 1024x768 monitor too so that should keep framerates high shouldn't it? Am I doing something wrong?
:(
but has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

That's probably the most poorly written sentence ever.
