Well to explain a few things, Editing the TOD does not change performance, Crytek is just a bunch of lazy cocks who went cheap on their Time of Day. Also you can call this photorealistic, but its not REALISTIC because the human eye does not work the same way as a camera.

I know he's faking some of the pictures, mainly talking about the pictures with the close up on the water that are reflecting the blades of grass. Because I can guarantee you won't see that in whatever he releases if he even does. Simply because forcing real-time water reflections in Crysis at the moment is only good for screenshots, as the real-time reflections only update the reflection on the water once every two seconds or so (so it's not really "real time"), and as such it looks really REALLY bad in motion. It does look nice in a screenshot though.

And some of the textures look different as well.

Realtime relfections are part of the Crysis source code, you can also make mirrors, but those will kill anyone's PC.
